I like the Retina lenses. I have a Retina Reflex S with 28mm f4, 35mm f2.8, 50mm f2.8, 85mm f4 and 135mm f4 although I don't use them as often as I would like. A couple years ago I bought a DKL to Nikon mount adapter and can use the lenses on my Nikon Df. They actually perform well. I do have a problem in resisting buying vintage lenses. I already had a 135mm f4 for my Retina, but found an excellent condition one at an antique store for $5. As far as my AE-1 is concerned, I may end up keeping it due to the lens issue. The day won't be a total loss as far as re-selling stuff goes, because I got a Canon 24mm f2.8 EF autofocus lens for an additional $25. I will definitely sell that to offset the costs of both the camera and the 24mm.
I'm wondering if they might have been intended/labelled as lenses for the Instamatic Reflex.
... Found at a Flea market this morning.

Before I posted my answer, I wandered a bit through the internet for pictures of the Instamatic Reflex. In about half of them, the writing at the front of the lens just has Schneider Kreuznach - no "Retina".That is possible as this is basically a Retina Reflex for 126 film, plus there were a few other other odd cameras that took the DKL mount also. Mine is not labelled as anything. Most Retina lenses were labelled as such (i.e., Retina-Xenon), but I suspect not all were.
Thanks Jon!Beautiful work on the restoration.
If these were scratches in or fungus on the glass, you could easily see this by looking from behind through the lens at a uniform, light surface. Otherwise it is reflection originating from the barrel (as it seems to be).The only issue is the lens. If you look through it, there doesn't appear to be any fungus, but at the edges of the glass there are reflections from inside the lens that make it appear as if the inside of the barrel is scratched.

Nope.Very old gear here, perhaps this camera is too modern. View attachment 227821
A surprisingly clean Petri FTE with 35, 55 and 135mm lenses. Shutter was sticky below 1/60th, but after dry firing the camera for about 10 minutes, it freed-up and is working fine. Seems a capable, but very basic camera. Haven't tested the meter yet...
My Petri fetish is becoming unhealthy, but it's a cheap thrill!

Earlier this evening I've snagged this beautiful Olympus Trip 35 for 14$CAN at a flea market.
The aperture blades wouldn't move nor would the red flag but I took a chance. 2 Hours & 1fl oz of Ronsonol later, it works fine
I'll need to re-adjust the focus but I'll do that another time as it's getting late.
