This thread has been so popular, the old one is broken, so let's start a new one.
What's your latest new old camera?
Likely she will argue that stuff is piling up nonetheless...I sold the eye level finder on ebay and already made more than I paid. Now, if my wife gives me the "You bought another camera?" look, I can say it was essentially free.
Planning to send it to Jurgen Kreckel (certo6) unless someone identifies a better person for the job.The Isolette III is a great camera (I have one). But as part of the CLA, hopefully your repair tech will be prepared to unfreeze both the focusing helical and rangefinder wheel. Almost all Isolettes have this problem. If your tech hasn't dealt with this problem before, I recommend you make sure s/he researches the topic before beginning the CLA.
A few weeks ago a Contax IIIa.
More recently an Exakta VX IIa.
I know it well! I already have a VX and a few lenses that I’ve been using for a while. I learned a lot from that site!Welcome fellow Contax IIIa and Exakta user!
Perhaps you're already aware of this excellent site:

I just bought another classic older camera with the intention of selling it, but want to keep it now. I was at an estate sale this morning and found a Canon AE-1 with 50mm f1.4 lens. It seems to work well at all shutter speeds and the meter works fine. It surprisingly doesn't have the "squeal" I have heard in many AE-1 shutters. The only issue is the lens. If you look through it, there doesn't appear to be any fungus, but at the edges of the glass there are reflections from inside the lens that make it appear as if the inside of the barrel is scratched. I am including a photo of it. If anyone has thoughts on what that could be, let me know.
I'm wondering if they might have been intended/labelled as lenses for the Instamatic Reflex.I am still not sure exactly what camera they did go on
