I sold all my Nikon stuff but kept my 55mm f/2.8 Micro so I could use it for product photos via an adapter on my Leicas (plus I really like that lens). Then in a moment of weakness I bought an F4 and 28mm f/2 AIS. Whoops.
 
I picked up this Vivitar XC-3 with the XC-A attachment as a part of a lot, so I ended up spending a whopping $8 on the camera. It works beautifully! The XC-A unit is a very rudimentary AE device that, after pressing halfway down on the shutter button, slowly and loudly turns the shutter speed dial to the appropriate setting once the exposure has been properly set. The camera, a rebadged Cosina CSR, is about the size of my XD11, but doesn't have the same high-quality feel that the Minolta has, although it feels very nice to hold and operate. I liked it enough that I bought another one that came with the 50/1.7 pictured, as well as a case.

Apart from the Nikomat, the Nikon F4 has to be the best value for money used camera out there at the moment

A Woodbläk 66 pinhole camera (6x6cm) fashioned out of a single block of European Beech with Cherry knobs.

The back, also part of the same block of wood, attaches simply and solidly by magnets. The workmanship is amazing. The film chambers are sculpted out and the knobs elevate as if they were hydraulically operated.

Minolta XG-M along with a 50mm F1.7. Nice camera and looking forward to getting the roll developed.
 
I got three cameras at the art center I go to. Two of them are backups, a Canonet QL17 GIII and a Nikon F80. The third was for fun, a Zeiss Ikon Contaflexb that ended up not working when I tested it.

The latest camera I bought to use is a Fuji GW690ii and I'm loving it. I've had it for about two weeks now.
 
First Holga I have ever had. Took it out today along with my RB67 both loaded with Tri-X and shot 4 rolls of 120 at the local nature center.
Of course I had to do the obligatory electrical tape sealing and taped a 49mm ring along with a 49 to 52 step-up ring so I can use filters and a shade.

We'll see if I've been out-Holga'd and it still leaks like a sieve.
Check out aows.co and see his Holga youtube video and pics, that's what prompted me to buy one.
 
I just bought my 41st camera (I don't still have them all, of course). But the styling and feel of this one has me totally smitten (more than anything else I've ever owned). And I don't even have a lens for it yet!
It's a Leica R4s. I just love the curvy zinc prism cover and the stamped ID on the flash shoe and the little green viewing window for the film canister. Absolutely marvelous! Who cares about photography?! I just wanna fondle this thing to death.
 
Absolute latest is a Hasselblad 500 C/M, that came with a 80mm f/2.8 C lens. I traded some 35mm equipment and a bit of cash. Can't wait to get it out this week, and run some film through it. 6x6 still has a lot of charm.

A couple of weeks ago, I found a Mamiya RZ67 Pro, with a 90mm f/3.5, and have since added three lenses, and a metered finder. A bit bulky, but I still love the 6x7 format.

Can't say I disagree with your assertion. Although the Canon EOS 1N, a rough equivalent, sells for about the same. The 1V sells for about what you can pick an F5 up for these days. Still, even though I have both EOS and Nikon AF outfits, I really do like that Nikon elected to stick with knobs and levers on the F4 instead of hard-to-fathom push buttons and LCD screens. I just wish my F4 did a better job of AF, especially with subjects that are in motion. My Nikon N80, an amateur level camera, does a better job of AF than my F4 does. Although, admittedly, the N80's AF tech is some 15 years or so newer than the F4's.

Kind of an impulse buy, but in fact the Bronica RF645 and ETRSi were probably the last new film cameras to seriously tempt me "back in the day".

Good points Michael. What I absolutely love about the F4 is that everything is where my fingers expect them to be.
That and the fact that nearly all Nikkors will work on it.

Picked up a Canonet from a "garage sale" at a local Arts center for $40USD. Cleaned it inside and out, replaced the seals, and adjusted the rangefinder.

Shot a test roll, and am loving it!

Thanks! 2 lenses, a body, 120 back and 2 finders for under $300 was hard to pass up. Lenses and finders are in pretty good shape, though I needed to service the 150mm lens's shutter. Body is decent but shows a fair amount of use. The 120 back is heavily worn and missing a roller, but it looks serviceable. But as usual, I detailed it all with a toothbrush, microfiber cloth, soapy water and naptha, so you're seeing it minus years of accumulated grime.

That's right. The only lens that can't be used on an F4 is the new AF-P from 2016. Admittedly, some other lenses which can be used won't have full functionality (e.g. VR). Just my opinion, but I think the F4 is one of the greatest bargains today.
