110 cartridges are available fresh from Lomography; old stock is still available.
I'm amazed Pentax, or anyone, would make a 110 SLR. It seems completely normal when holding it up to your eye and looking through one of the lenses - just like any other SLR. It has a very bright and accurate split image focusing screen.

That looks like a new camera... Does it have a separate viewfinder and a magnified rangefinder image?
No, with all the Super Ikontas you have a single viewfinder with the rangefinder spot. Nothing's magnified, but it's a pretty large image. You see that little lens that sits on top of the lens standard, off to the right? It rotates when the focus wheel is rotated. Next, you see the small window in the body, top right of the bellows compartment? The image from the round lens passes into that little window. There's a mirror behind that window which sends the image to the rangefinder mechanism to produce the shifting image for focusing. All Super Ikontas focus this way.
It does look new, doesn't it? The only faults I can find with it will require a bit of careful work to remedy. You may notice that bulge under the leatherette to the left of the bellows. That bulge is actually a pile of corrosion that has grown over the years. What happens over time is there are these brass screws under the leatherette that slowly corrode, forming these green piles that have nowhere to go because they're trapped under the leatherette. What has to be done is to carefully peel back the leatherette so the corrosion can be removed. There are several places on the back of the camera that are even worse than this one, so I'll be peeling back the back's leatherette as well. I just hope it hasn't become brittle. I've done this procedure once before on a Super Ikonta. On that one, the leatherette was stll pliable so it was an easy fix. I'm hoping this one will be just as cooperative.

Very nice Super Ikonta Cooltouch. About a week ago, for my birthday, I bought a Super Ikonta IV. It's also in brilliant condition like yours. I've posted some pictures taken on it to the Technical Gallery. Mine also has a case, lens hood in leather case and some filters. I am delighted with it. Pictures taken with the built-in light meter seem nicely exposed and the image quality is excellent. The first MF camera I ever used was a Zeiss Ikon and that was over 25 years ago. I have always wanted my own Zeiss folder so now I have 6 cameras, all different models.

Congrats on your purchase, Svenedin. I would love to have an IV, but they're pretty uncommon. And when that BX showed up on eBay for only $100, I just couldn't resist. It arrived yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the meter is still quite sensitive to light. I haven't checked its accuracy yet though.
Very nice but I see what you mean about the "Zeiss bumps". Make sure that is not a sign of corrosion elsewhere. There is another thread about dealing with those bumps. The leather is probably stuck on with shellac which will dissolve in alcohol (ethanol) so you could potentially very carefully remove the leather without damage if you are patient (as you mentioned). I do hope you enjoy using your camera and $100 is a bargain for what you got. I absolutely adore my Super Ikonta IV and I was out taking pictures again today. There are now 4 roll films in the queue so I should be busy in the darkroom tonight. Filters for your camera can be found -I have nearly the full set. I also notice that your camera has eyelets for attaching a strap. That is handy. My IV does not have those so has to be used with the case for fear of dropping it.

The crazy thing..... I have acquired Exceptional to Exceptional+ quality glass and a body and winder and flash..... for less than $800. Just a consumer digital body and entry level, crapy zoom will run this in modern digital.
I just dropped another $200 on a 85mm, 1.8F prime (EX+ quality) to round out my lens selection..... and I am right at a grand in spending.
I love the silver mount ring, prime lens from Canon....heavy, solid and really good glass.
I am just giddy with happiness.....shooting 35mm again.
When I was an 18 year old, my folks gave me an AE-1 Program for a graduation present...... and loved it! The past 10 years...I have been shooting digital and it as been good, but the sound of a shutter on a 'mint' F1 New....is awesome and my dream camera back in the '80's.

$60 from Pacific Rim Camera. Meter needs an overhaul, plus there's the cosmetic issues. Comes with the 50/2 Nikkor-HC depicted. Picking it up at the Puget Sound Photographic Collectors Society camera show and swap meet next Saturday.

its a korona home portrat camera sold by someone here and all the $$ was given to APUG.
the camera has a nice lens purchased a few years ago from another apug member
and the whole "kit n'kabootle" will be used by my kids to shoot 8x10 paper negatives can't wait !

Scored a Konica IIIa, f1.8 with a 1a dedicated filter and a Konica lens cap. Plus a everready case, intact with strap, but is a little rough, but usable. The camera is essentially mint, save for a few rubs on the base plate from securing to the case and/or a tripod. Other than that, shutter sounds good, lens spotless, and the viewfinder is fabulous. What a street camera! But heavy! Close to 2 pounds.
Another Nikon body... F4s with 50/1.8 AF Nikkor. $100, plus tax. DP-20 lower LCD has bleed, so it can only really be used in A, S, or P modes if the finder is mounted. With the finder dismounted, then I can use the F3-style meter readout with the spotmeter that's built into the body. No damage to the housing on the finder, unlike my original F4, which had the same issue with its original DP-20. Now comes the process of hunting down an MB-20, MB-23, MF-23 data back, and another DP-20 (ideally a late model one, so I can have the lock pin hole on the accessory shoe. Also need to hunt down another P screen.

Am making a well functioning one out of the two. Takes a little thought on how to adjust the optics after disassembly but I have found a relatively cheap and fast solution. They were made in Kiev, soviet socialist Ukrainian republic. Both works still exist, the one that made the plastic and the other where assembly took place.

My latest old camera is another Kodak Retina - a 1a this time. It is in 'well loved' condition but works perfectly.
My wife just found this in a box, she doesn't know where it came from or who in her family owned it. It's got a meniscus lens... I didn't look close enough to tell if it's an achromatic doublet. Made between 1919 and 1926, and takes 120 film. Looking forward to using it!
