With a little luck, it'll be a Mamiya 16 Automatic (16 mm film, 10x14 mm frame). Sekor f/2.8 25 mm lens, focus from 1 foot to infinity, aperture to f/16, shutter B, 1/5 to 1/200.
dirrrrty:
Maybe you should have checked you weren't buying from Xtina?
Would be a "Main Battle Tank"

Excellent find! I've found a lot of thrift/junk store cameras, but never a Leica...A couple weeks ago I bought a box of camera junk at a place called "Houseworks" . 30 bucks, I could see an earlier Mamiya 6, didn't need it, but was curious .
A very well functioning Mamiya 6, but also a Leica II (Model D) 1931 camera. Also some cool early optical finders. The lens is some weird Zeiss 3,5 cm Planar in a Leica mount. The lens needs a CLA. The Leica seems to be 100% functional, the black paint has rubbed, and in a couple areas flaked off. Still 92 years old still clicking away.

I've enjoyed mine since I bought it new in the 1970s.
But it only came in black, so I would be surprised if yours was any other colour.
One hint though - use silver oxide batteries, and take extras.
A good camera. I agree I think it was only available in black.
You did well to get one in the 1970s though, it was released in 1984.
1965 Nikon S4 rangefinder, just took delivery of it last week, ran two rolls of film thru it and it seems good to go.
