That's too bad, I guess. Mine is useful for what it is and has helped me with what I wanted it for. The Nikon one is not available anymore either.

I suppose with no more F6 in production they were just burning through stock and decided it was no longer worth doing another run. Or updating the software. There's a crap ton of F5s and F6s out there, but I'm guessing far fewer people either know of the capability or care than I thought. Can't say as I blame them, but I'm still disappointed to hear it.

Got a Canon AE-1 Program at an antique shop. $25 with 50mm f1.8 attached. Lens has a touch of fungus but just two small spots. Seems to work properly but someone carved their name in the bottom plate in a rather crude fashion.

I prefer the AV-1 (I have two) so probably going to send this one along, but I'll give it a chance first. Should develop the first roll tomorrow.

Received a very nice FT2 body yesterday, thanks to @Huss . Great to have a fully functional F mount body again to be able to use my modest collection of glass. First roll is drying right now, looks like the meter is right on the money. I will need to track down a + something diopter eyepiece to help my old eyes though.

I recently got a hell of a deal on a Contaflex Super (original model) at a flea market. I quickly discovered that it wasn't my style due to the fresnel screen and long minimum focus distance, so I traded it to a very generous forum member for a first-model Praktica in working shape. I also got a good deal on a clip-on prism for it and now I have this East German beauty of... admittedly dubious usefulness. It looks unbelievably cool with a Pentax SMC Takumar 1.4 mounted on it.

I love the early 50's era of SLR'S and this is no different. Something about how literally no aspect of the SLR was standardized yet. Objectively the Praktica was pretty basic even at the time, but it has such a cool aesthetic to it and I plan to shoot it as soon as the weather clears up

I recently received a very nice Nikon N70 and a Nikon N80 that was listed in "Poor Condition" due to being pretty sticky all over. After a couple of hours of a thorough alcohol bath it looks like new and works perfectly.

I sold off my 1st M2. Bought another the absolute spartan features really appeal to me. Only one set of frame lines appear at a time, uncluttered elegance.

I have a 1933 Leica III "model F" I have a Leica 5cm viewfinder so I can see. The rangefinder is still good. The 5cm Summar is difficult for me to manipulate the aperture and focus.

The M2 doesn't confuse me with multiple frames. With the 35mm lens attached it's absolutely wide open, there's frame lines there but I don't really notice them.

I have two interesting ones headed my way. An Anscomark M with the 50mm 1.9 which I've been lusting over for a minute now (lugs are missing as expected though, bummer). Also an Olympus Auto, from what I can tell is a pretty rare fixed lens RF from Oly that is based off the Ace. It was mistakenly labeled as an Olympus Auto Eye. Very clean design, excited to give it a go.

Just got a 1930s Voigtlander Bessa. I have wanted a 120 folder for a while. I like it even more than I imagined. Have one roll of film through it and need to develop it and see how it turns out. It even still has its original leather case. Everything seems in decent working order but the film will tell. I have been behind in developing lately and had a couple of rolls that needed to be developed first so, I have to wait a touch longer to see the results. I have a feeling this will not be my last folder. I think an addiction may be starting,

I recently got a nice cambo legend 4x5 camera that came with a 150/265 convertible lens. I also picked up a 210 lens, a 6x7 back, a 6x9 back, but sadly missed out one the viewer for the back because I couldn’t decide if I wanted it (oh well my focusing cloth will do). Have not shot much with it as yet because I also decided it was time to get my darkroom up and running so that has been the priority. Darkroom is in useable shape now, just one more thing to make it so I don’t need to use a changing bag for film, so I should be starting some projects I have in mind for 4x5 film. I am very excited.

Wollensak Stereo 10. Cant wait to make some stereo slides! I have had the viewers and slide mounts for years and finally for a camera.

30 years ago I jettisoned my Nikon FG as too small and "tinny" and bought a Nikon FE instead which I loved. Now with the influx of new interest by students to shoot film raising the prices of decent FM and FE's I just bought a Nikon FG again and it seems like such a lovely possibility at about half the price or less than FE's and FM's are getting. Nonsensical sort of. For a student it can certainly do everything an FE or FM can do. Not sure why there doesn't seem to be any love for them.

Tomorrow UPS is bringing me another Kodak 2D 8X10 with what appears to be a factory service center front swing assembly. But today it's the Nikon FG.

I can't really justify this, but I'm waiting for a Hasselblad 503CX to come and take over from the 500cm. It's 12 years younger, but beyond that it will do everything just the same, so that's just ex post facto rationalisation.

Just got an Olympus XA2. Really nice shape except needed light seals and back door paint was scratched.
Put new seals in and covered back door with 3M vinyl adhesive wrap. Looks much nicer now.

Yes it is, I just got a Agfa Jsolette. Needs some work but that was to be expected. The bellows seems good though which is surprising. The shutter wont go to the slower speeds but T works perfectly. And of course the lens focusing is seized. But looking forward to 6x6 and 6x4.5. The Bessa 6x9 feels like it eats film. There is something about the folders. I have begun considering a 35mm folder now.
