Ah, so that's odd, as the inside of mine looks very well-blacked-out. I'll look for a hood though.I got a cheapo Chinese hood for something like $10. Works just as well as the precious $50 a pop vintage pieces, though it doesn't look as sexy. Oh well. And flocking is just black velvet-type paper that reduces internal reflections, which you can get at telescope hobby sites, or the big A if you don't mind selling your soul to Beelzebezos. The D particularly seems to have problems with internal reflections, which I think account for its so-so reputation vs other contemporary cameras. Many of those had better internal coatings and/or baffles that cut down on all those photons bouncing around inside.
Yours, with its fancy lenses, appears to be newer than mine. The inside of mine was black, but my Rolleiflex MX is visibly blacker and far more matt - and even so F&H ended up adding baffles to their cameras soon after. The flocking really made a difference for me, but in the end if you don't see a problem, there is no problem.Ah, so that's odd, as the inside of mine looks very well-blacked-out. Actually I think there was an early variant of the D with small baffles. Not every Yashikor D, clearly, as yours must not have them, and apparently none of the later ones.Yours, with its fancy lenses, appears to be newer than mine. According to the yashicatlr.com website, there were D's (sexy colored ones, too) with full-blown Rolleiflex-style baffles: http://yashicatlr.com/66ModelsPage6.html#yashicadActually I think there was an early variant of the D with small baffles.
Very clean Retina IIa that I had Chris Sherlock service. It had some focusing and light leak issues, works great now. https://retinarescue.com/ highly recommended

A like new Canon F-1 n, second model, body as part of my effort to have back-up in most shooting bodies.
A good Canon wide angle, and 135mm Fl or FD lens to go with the 50 - 55 mm lenses I have will become key to my bag, which includes Pentax M42 lenses may parallel a Nikon F bag, which I've also sought to build, as a working kit with a second body and a wide angle there also.
I've a Pentax Spotmatic that I really like and so far as the small format M42 camera's, a second, first model and lenses will augment both the Canon and Nikon, with by-way-of M42 adapters on both.
As I try to gear up for some cross country road trips, I'll keep an eye out for other kit, but I suspect my time is best served by filling in the gaps in 6x6 Hasselblad and lenses for my 4"x5" speed graphic, though I'd like better sometime in both camera and lens.
Cheers.
