I bought a Flic Film Pic to open the Sensai cassettes. The Flic Pic is a complete POS. I was following Flic Film's instructions on their website. 3D printed junk, it's broken. Flic Film basically told me tough luck.

I just purchased a Nikon 200mm/f4 AI lens. I'm planning on attending some race-related events during car week at Pebble Beach in August and needed a telephoto lens.

That sounds like fun, hopefully you’ll post a few images.

Some more 5"x7" holders for negatives in the home built pinhole camera I'm building, sometime soon, I hope

Really? So, was your most recent purchase that long ago, or are you guys very early in preparing Valentine's special imagery?

Also, welcome to Photrio!
We have been doing photography last 15 years ago and have all essentials of photography equipment like camera cranes, tripods, lights, drones, and many more.
So on this last Valentine's Day 2023, we purchase these things for create a stunning theme for our this photoshoot and we get very positive response for our photoshoot.

It is interesting to me how many members are interested in what other members are are buying. If this is not the most active thread in terms of posts and views, it is right up there.

Ordered some Ilford Ortho (4x5) and Harman direct positive in 5x7, but I think they're going to be returned. FedEx did a number on the boxes:

Curses, Fedex does it again.
They're the ones who should threaten a strike, walk out and stay out.

Wrong company, it is UPS that is threatening to go on strike.

There is a new overnight delivery service for those things that must absolutely move overnight: FedExLAX

I’ve generally had decent luck with FedEx, so this was a surprise. Fortunately B&H is on top of it, and new boxes are already on their way.

Having worked the conveyor lines at a FedEx hub in a previous life...
Sometimes big, heavy, or odd-size packages jam up the line, and smaller boxes with minimal packing (i.e. those bags of air) can get crushed as collateral damage.
Those lines move fast, and it can happen in a matter of seconds.
Such things happen, unfortunately, and to other carriers, too.
Bummer it happened to you, but glad B&H is on it.

Many years ago I worked for Gary Fisher Mountain Bikes. We shipped boxed bicycles via UPS, on day we received a half of a bicycle we had shipped, it was sheared in half right through the top and down tubes.

"Cartier-Bresson's France", coffee-table book.
Three dollars at a book sale.

I do not pretend to know much about the photos' qualities, but I see a lot of scenes of my childhood there.
One picture has a car model my brother drove, another, my sister's and an other, mine! Many street scenes and people's occupations belong to a past since gone.

This is my second Cartier-Bresson. My first "The World of Henri C-B" seems to have more edgy content. I need to compare, and maybe read more about his approach.

A well-loved, but intact copy of "The Somnambulist" by Ralph Gibson.
It completes my early Ralph Gibson trilogy. 👍
