I bought a Pentax 6x7 kit. It's nice, but I kind of regret it because I was saving up for a 4x5... The GAS took a hold of me this time.

I buy and buy and buy.

But the real cost isn't the money. it's the management and decision-making of having extra gear. Which tripod to take? Which camera? Which light meter? I'm so busy making those decisions that sometimes I forget an essential small part (filter, quick release plate, etc).

Ditto the number of B&W developers. At least a lot of smart folks use only one developer. But some of us fool ourselves into thinking that different developers are better for different films/degree of contrast, etc.

I bought a bunch of Kodak Hypo Clearing Agent and D76 pouches, outdated but absolutely fine. One person's toxic waste in another's treasure 😊 😁🤔🤓

Picked up some 4x5 and 5x7 Kodak Hard Hard Tanks with hangers in like new condition, and a bunch of D76, D76R, Fixer and a Gralab timer as a backup at a yard sale on the weekend

Lens cleaner, a microfiber cloth and filter wrenches...
I'm boring isn't it?

Not when filters get stuck together or stuck on the lens. Then filter wrenches are stress reducing.

Still hard to beat hard rubber tanks! I have a bunch of Jobo expert drums, but especially for 4x5 hard rubber tanks work great! Well done!

This is a very old-style camera. Can you tell me for which project do you purchase this equipment?
I don't have a specific project in mind. The Pentax 6x7 is a great camera for portraits and landscapes (although it's somewhat heavy). I like shooting medium format cameras like this, because it's a more fun experience, and yields an image larger than my mirrorless camera.

One of the tanks had been converted to a wash tank with a drain at the bottom - something I had been looking out for to replace dumping tanks of water and then letting them refill. It was definitely a win.

A rare Petri Color 35 D for $45. I still can't believe it. No, I got it at a thrift store, not at CAMERAQUEST.

https://www.cameraquest.com/petri35.htm

This s was the first 35 mm I ever owned, bought when I was 15-16 from the original Belk's store, located in Charlotte NC where I worked as a sales clerk at a jean shop above the men's department.

I bought it there for $54, with my paychecks, a small fortune at the time and shot it all over downtown and elsewhere.

It's a great little camera, and you've got a fantastic deal on a sweet street shooter!

I hope you'll enjoy it for years!

The Petri Color 35 that I just bought is the rare Color 35 D version, not the regular Color 35 version. The D version has a faster top shutter speed than the regular model. It has a black viewfinder cover marked with a big "D". Apparently very few were made, so it's rare today.

I bought a bulk film loader for $4 at a junk store. I spooled off around 120 feet of Ektachrome off a fresh 400 foot spool. Loaded a single cassette (Sensai) those cassettes are whacky, I'm just trying to see what they are all about.

Another yes vote for the Petri Color 35.
It truly is better ergonomically than the Rollei 35.
If it only came with the Sonnar lens...

A like new 2x Canon FD teleconverter B, in original box with leather case and unopened strap with both caps.

It's in pristine shape from what I've seen and I'm very happy with it and the deal.

This is for lenses of less than 300 mm with one 300 mm exception, the 2.8L, if I recall the paperwork correctly, all drugged up at the moment.

Now you if you'll excuse me I need to leave positive feedback for the sale.

Godspeed to All.

Sony a900 for $100. In perfect shape, but two of the the electrical lens pins are broken, so it lacks auto-focusing, and aperture control. Everything else on it works like new!!! That makes it perfect for macro photography where I always control the focusing and f-stop manually anyway. Super Deal or STEAL?

I'd say you got a deal on a high resolution camera for what a pack of Portra rollfilm costs these days.

2x 2CR6 for EOS 650 and EOS 50E
