A 5x7 Lisco Film Holder in like new condition in the original box off a local auction site for $5. It even had film in it.:smile:
 
A Canon 2.8 24mm FD SSC, 'o' lens with case, filter and both front and back caps.

Bought from a member here, very happy with what he sent, as I believe the only PRIME wide angle 135 format lenses I have are BOTH in Pentax M42 and I like how Canon FD lenses render, particularly with SSC coatings.

A dollar at a local library book sale.
Don't ask me why this (donated) book is not kept, and put in circulation...

Honestly, I did not know about the author (seems recognized), but the book layout was pleasing, always a good sign, and the price was right!

EDIT: it seems the book is downloadable from the Internet Archive!

Having to do more and more digital video for work, so I got a Blackmagic Pocket 4K and a couple of MFT lenses along with adapters for my c-mount, FD, and EF mount lenses, along with various other doo-dads to make it all work.

I'm not sure that is a bad thing. My head would explode if I had to learn video:cry:.
 
2 Nikon MC-20 remote releases for my two Nikon N90s cameras. I am tired of not having releases for these cameras. Both from KEH, one in EXC and one in BGN condition. I was out on the coast today in the rain with 100 speed film with a tripod and foolish me thought that a MC12A release would work on the N90s. I used the self timer but that’s not near as nice as having a proper release.

Oh and I just ordered a B+W yellow filter for one of the N90s's. This should pretty much complete one “kit”, which will stay in my truck. This is an upgrade from the F401x that formally resided in my truck, which was frustrating because it doesn’t give you any exposure data when you are on any of the auto modes. I shoot a lot on aperture priority and really like to know what the shutter speed is. Having the ultra cheap camera in the truck didn’t last very long. :smile:

Good move. As most know it's professionally necessary (or very smart at least) to be able to do what clients increasingly need. Their marketing usually centers online...which by definition often demands video.

As promised, here a couple photos of the lens diaphragm mounted on a Sinar board. I needed 7mm long screws which weren’t available so I made a little bushing so I could shorten the screws on my lathe.

David Vestal was one of the premiere authors back in the day on darkroom work and key contributor for Darkroom & Creative Camera Techniques magazine. I always liked his writings.

Traded an older low-res digicam for small lot of K mount lenses, so essentially free:
Chinar 135mm 2.8
Takumar 135mm 2.5
Pentax-A 50mm 1.7
I have a K1000 with partially di-silvered prism, and a Promaster 2500K (both also free), so I could use the Chinar to make a go-to setup for harsh environments.

Should I look for a Cosina, Sears, or Chinon body to spice things up?

Didn't Ricoh also make K-mount bodies? I really like the M42 Ricoh bodies I have (one is labeled for Sears).

Single burner hot plate for warming up distilled water to mix chemicals.
