Just bought an entire turnkey lighting kit from a colleague. 4 Alien B D800's, 6 nifty radio controllers, a bunch of cables and plugs all in a neat case. Time to learn proper work with a monolight. Just need some umbrellas and I'm good to go.

A Fotron "Snap-Load Magazine" with unexposed film. Getting into it was a bit of a wrestle (ahh the days of stuff being made in countries other than China!), but I finally got into it, although I was disappointed that meant "cracking" the plastic to do so. Gave me exactly what I need to shoot even more film on my Bantam Special: 2x 828 spools, (expired Kodacolor II film) and backing paper.

Re-spooled some ProImage 100 today, so my fingers are crossed tomorrow provides rather better weather to shoot!

I bought a cheap Pentax MX and Nikon F2. The MX has issues, but the F2 seems fine. (I just finished a test roll, but haven’t developed it yet.)

I also bought a Cinestill sous vide device to cook my steaks and bring my color chemicals up to temp.

I bought eyecups for my FM3a and F3 and a half case for the F3. Don't like the eyecup on the FM3a, it tore as soon as I put it on.

Before that I bought an old F3. Trying to decide whether to carry F3s or stick with the FM3a and smaller manuals Nikons as a street photography carry around. Might try an FA next.

Prices seem to keep rising. That is good(ish) as I can sell the one I decide not to keep for what I paid! So maybe I'm renting an F3.

Finally gave in and got me a 35mm rangefinder, a Zorki 4. A nice one, written in russian (Зоркий). It came with a 50mm Industar, but I intend on getting better glass for it in the future.

Seems to be an interesting concept - a bit like the original Kodak "You press the button, we do the rest!"
I'd be happy to get my hands on several more, sadly the cost to post far outweighs the actual purchase place.

By the time we had the contract to develop Traid films, I think Traid was on the skids. They had used high-pressure techniques to sell the cameras and those who bought them didn’t understand the true cost. While anecdotal, the images I viewed from looking at the thousands I saw, the cameras must have been a hit with hillbillies.

I started to say a roll of inkjet paper but looked at the bread crumbs and noticed this is an analog forum. So I would have to say slide mounts.These are getting fewer and some that were readily available are being discontinued. Or a Logan light panel to replace my old Gepe panel.

"Purchase" isn't quite the word, but over the weekend I 3D printed a MUTO 4x5 pinhole camera. It has 25mm projection distance, uses clips to secure film holders or Graflok accessories, and the pinhole and shutter mount in a hexagonal plate that can be rotated to give straight-on, rise, shift, or rise and shift together without needing multiple pinholes. My cost for filament was under $5 (including reprinting some parts that lifted during print and lost their flatness), but it ran to about twenty hours of machine time. Got to buy some screws and flat black paint for final assembly on the way home from work tonight.

I'll post it in my 3D Printing thread in Camera Building and Repairs when I get it fully assembled. I still have to paint the interior flat black (and try to find some flocking material), glue the film holder frame and front panel to the body, screw on the tripod mounts, and make the pinhole -- and during the work week, that isn't likely to happen. Should be able to get it done on the weekend, though, and (since paint needs time to dry) probably test it next weekend (16th/17th). Meanwhile, there are a couple good images on Thingiverse from the designer.

A Contax 300mm f4 Tele-Tessar and Contax Mutar II 2x teleconverter, and a set of Contax extension tubes (13,20, and 26mm). And a whole bunch of other stuff like polarizing gels for studio lights to eliminate glare on my prints I'm trying to copy.

3 boxes of 100 7 x 5 Ilford MG10 ; 1 box Ilford MG11 7 x 5 pearl rc; 1/2 box Ilford RAF gd3 sm whole plate; plus a few other part packs. All for a song. Will be interesting. Lots of RAF camps near me including surveillance. Shame there wasn't any Avitone film but you can't have everything.

Some large sheets of film from Polaroid and same day, a winder for an FR. This was it, i think. Before Polaroid sold its polarizer division and an FR was new.

I bought this Zeiss Ikon Contaflex VI for 8 bucks at my usual store. It's a wreck that will require a lot of time but I couldn't leave behind a Syncro-Compur w/ Tessar 50mm f/2.8 for such price.

PS: The focus ring is rock solid seized. Oh boy...a lot of time indeed.
