Microprism Brightscreen focusing screen by Rick Oleson for my Rolleiflex 3.5F - I have a split screen but for some photographic purposes as portrait work or photographs with the Rolleinars, I prefer the microprism.
Over the past month:
Couple rolls of film were processed
An SB-800
A roll of Ektar 100 for the F3P
A 50/2 Nikkor AI
A Nikkormat FTn that turned out to be a parts body, but wasn't very much
A 55/3.5 Micro-Nikkor AI that was mismarked as a pre-AI lens, so price was low
And a black Nikomat FTn.
In less than 36 hours, the PSPCS swap meet will be occuring. We'll see what comes home with me.

Ten 120 Kodak Tri-X from Adorama because they removed the anti-film article and booted the copyright cheating author.
Did they boot him, or just delete his previous articles? They have already publicly stated that they believe his use of Ken Rockwell's M3 image was accidental. I haven't seen any retraction of that belief. And Helen Oster has defended his controversial M2 article largely lifted from Japan Camera Hunter.
Like I said, all we know is that they took down his articles. We do not know if his relationship with Adorama has been terminated. Adorma has not retracted its belief that his use of the M3 image was accidental, and Helen Oster has defended his M2 article.
All the Fuji Acros I could afford (it wasn't much).

I went up there Saturday morning - first time I've ever been able to get in before noon. I bought some small things and enjoyed talking with a few people.
I'm still surprised at the number of sellers who bring cameras without batteries when the camera depends on batteries to work. There were some nice tables there.

Film: 35mm 120 and 4X5
Got a couple Nikkormat FTn bodies from Pacific Rim, along with eight bakelite Nikon/Nikkor 52mm caps. Nothing else really jumped out at me. But, then again, since I'm not 100% health-wise, my eyes were rather watery (and not due to the rain), so my vision kinda sucked. Better today.
On the way home, I did stop in at Glazer's and picked up a 50/1.4 AI Nikkor for $90, plus three rolls of film (TMZ-P3200, Ektar 100, and CineStill 50D).

I just won an eBay auction for my Canon F1n's a "B" split image focusing screen in the original; box from a seller in Germany. It must be about forty years since they were manufactured and they are pretty rare and expensive these days but I got this one at a reasonable price. and I'm thankful we have eBay these days or I wouldn't know where to start to obtain one.

Instruction manuals for my RB67 Pro S and for my Canon EF, plus a nice multi-page New F-1N brochure. Until now, I was using the internet as a resource for operation of those cameras.
Also, bought some color 52mm filters for Nikon.
I saw a chrome XD-11, but didn't buy it because the seller had no battery to test it. Looks like I'm going to have to bring my own batteries (BYOB) for cameras I'm interested in.
Generally speaking, AgX as far as cameras and lenses go I have, but I'm having trouble focusing my wide angle lenses with the microprism one I have For my F1n's especially the 17mm f3.5 Tamron SP and the Canon FD24 mm f2.8, although I do already have one for my New F1's the two models take different focusing screens, and I don't want to have to carry two bodies these are heavy cameras.
Maybe it depends on who makes the microprism. Of all my cameras, the microprism on my Pentax SP500 is the best: the image just snaps into place. No other has matched it.
Disappointed with the split image on my first F3/T, I replaced its screen with an H3 (I think it's a 3): the whole screen is a microprism field! I love it.
There are different micro prism focusing screens in the Canon F1 system ground at particular angles that are suitable for different focal length and fast or slow lenses.
The "B" split image screen I bought on eBay is particularly suitable for extreme wide angle lenses, and I need it for my 17mm f3.5 Tamron S.P. I have one for my New F1, and it's perfect for the 17mm, but unfortunately, they are not interchangeable between the models.
