I just received a very lightly used Nikkor AF-S 85mm f1.8G.

And by an odd coincidence, I just discovered eight rolls of Cinestill 50 sitting in a small sack next to my desk. I have no idea how long it's been there. The film fairy must have brought this, as I was contemplating buying some just last week!

A nice unused bag from the local thrift store that holds the Mamiya 1000S very nicely.

I picked up a Kearsarge 402 to add to my two misbehavin' Gralab 645s and Gralab 900. Next is to find a foot pedal for it. When I am done with that trick, I'll turn my attention to world peace, 'cause it will take about as much effort. Lol.

I also finally picked up a book by one of my all time favorite photographers, Anton Corbijn called Hollands Deep. It is supposed to be a retrospective, so I hope it will be as good and as thorough as possible. I've never before seen a book that captured the true breadth of his work. I hope this is the one. There is someone on Flickr who photographed the show and it looked amazing. Fingers crossed.

I grabbed a Sigma 100-400mm f/5~6.3 while it was on sale at Adorama. Alas, it's a digital only lens.

A "D" squared off focusing screen for my Canon F1n's off eBay, these things were always expensive but they sell these days for about three times or more than they cost new forty years ago.

A really nice pristine Speed Graphic with the Graflex Optar 135mm lens, a Pyrocat HD 500ml kit, some palladium printing chemistry (EDTA and sodium sulfite, Potassium Oxalate developer, and a Ziatype kit for my upcoming class). I'll need to get some more 4x5 film for use with the large format class I'm teaching.

A Bausch and Lomb Compound shutter it's unknown size roughly #0 but until it arrives I'm not sure if its US thread or European. - my guess US but I have lens cells that will fit either way :D

One can never have enough shutters, as long as the price is right. It's surprising how many new (unused) shutters I've found with blank aperture scales, US and European, I just need a cheap NIB Betax #5 . . . . . . . . . . .

A Nikkor AF-S 28mm f1.8 G for my future F6 purchase. (It may also get used on a D800 I happen to have laying around.)

Ordinarily I buy 50/35/24 primes, then expand from there as desired. But there was such a screaming deal on the Tamron 45mm f1.8 that I couldn't resist. Now I can't justify a 35. 28 instead of 35? I'll have to see how that works out. So no 24, means getting a 20. The real irony here is that saving $200 on the purchase of the 45 means spending an additional wad of cash for the 20 over the 24. Oh well, it's only money...

A couple of extra rubber feet - for my 18" Rotatrim paper cutter.
Right now it is too long for the counter in my bathroom/darkroom. I'm going to see if I can make the paper cutter work on it.

No more lost lens caps or using SL filter for my Summitar. Among the last of the big spenders, I bought a Tiffen screw in filter at that auction site for a couple bucks (postage=cost).

A Polaroid 680 camera - should arrive next week. Now that Polaroid film is back I can't stop shooting with the Impulse AF I got more than 20 years ago. The 680 should be a gem!

I just bought an older pro not-film camera.

I bought it so I can shoot the 'darkside' alongside my analog camera and sharing lenses. I wanted a camera that was close as I can get in feel as to what I have now.

I shoot an EOS A2 (not e) so I got a 6D that can use the same lenses. They feel very very much the same. I now have the best of both worlds. I can swap EF lenses.

(Looks over shoulder for mods)

Kiev 4M.
It comes with the Helios 53mm f1.8 lens, but I have a Jupiter 8M lens that will also suit it
