Mahogany, shellac wood sealer, Brass lacquer, a 4" bench saw . . . . . . . . . .

More plate camera restorations and lens boards/converter lens boards in the future.

Oh and some more AgfaPhoto Vista 200 film from Poundland (£1 per 24ex roll) and a Tetenal C41 kit and some 12x16 Kodak RA4 paper

Since B&H won't ship C-41 any more, I ordered my big batch from Freestyle (I've got an upcoming trip to Italy and 80 rolls of Ektar 100/Portra 400/Portra 800 in 120 to burn, not to mention a similar quantity of Tri-X 400 in 120). I ordered two of the Rollei 5L kits and two packs of 100 negative pages (4x 3-frame strips). Also arrived yesterday was my bottle of TF-4 and a 2-L kit of Pyrocat-HD in Glycol. Somehow by accident the Formulary also sent me someone else's chemistry order so I need to call them and get that taken care of.

"old version" Fuji 210/5.6 (the one that covers 10x8).
Been after one for a few months, and this one popped up from a UK seller on eBay (as opposed to having to import from japan with all the potential duty/vat/return problems) just as I had a few quid in my PayPal account from a couple of sales.
Just a shade under £90 delivered, and then he gave me an unexpected postage refund.
Dent in the filter ring, but the shutter runs fine (accuracy to be determined) and not a mark on the elements.
I keep thinking this was A Bargain ... but maybe just a Very Good Deal

A single roll of 120 Kodak TMax 400 while on vacation in Sweden. Our hotel happened to be right across the street from a photography store, and on general principle I had to buy something. I wanted a roll of 120 HP5 since that's what I generally use, but they had none, so it ended up being TMY-2 instead.

The best was my last...F100

+1012

The Nikon F-100 is the best 35mm single lens reflex camera they built. In fact the best 35mm single lens reflex camera anyone built.

The F100: There is someone on my local kijiji tis rying to sell an F100 with Nikkor 85f1.8 (or 2?) for $5000. Albeit it is in Canadian dollars, but still. He calls it both rare and the best camera ever made. Guess he hasn't heard of the F6, which doesn't even cost as much as his.

I had an F100 for a while. Hated the feel of it. It felt like a plastic toy. Just my opinion.

Agfa Isolette II with Solinar 75mm f/3.5 lens which may need a complete CLA. I don't know I can keep it or send this camera back.

Pentacon F / Contax F. Not expecting over much, all I ask it that it works. Also, I am hoping that my M42 lenses will fit - not sure about the automatic aperture mechanism being compatible with the more modern version. Will find out in a couple of days.

Overwhelming Bargain

Went to buy just an enlarger to get my darkroom on the road to working, and ending up getting a whole darkroom…
Sorry for the potato/old phone image quality, but I was too excited to set it up to take a good pic of it all together.

I drove about an hour for this classifieds ad: Omega B-22 enlarger with filters. That's essentially all it said. I emailed the guy and he asked if we could chat on the phone, which I initially thought was odd since I just emailed him…maybe to make sure I wasn't a scambot. We chatted a bit about what I was going to shoot, how I got into film, etc. and told me it would come with a timer as well. I asked about the condensers and wanted to make sure it was in working order, because the asking price was so low (about USD $200 less than what other similar enlargers were going for locally) Upon arriving he said "I've also included a few other things you might need…"

He proceeded to load me up with dev, fix, easels, safelight, touch-up/spotting kit, thermometers, a recently CLA'd Pentax Spotmatic (I've been without a mechanical 35mm for too long) with SMC 55mm 1.8 Takumar, a Porroflex finder for my C33, and a pistol grip. All of that on top of a very, VERY lightly used Omega Enlarger, in the box, with all the condensers and carriers for 35mm and 6x6, plus a supplementary condenser, spare bulbs, Ilford and some Serbian brand of VC filters. I was quite overwhelmed with how much he gave me, but just replied with "my wife will thank you."

All in all, a superb purchase. Now I've just got to get my Mamiya lens CLA'd :/

Maurice, if you're on here, THANK YOU, again!
