I like that. Actually the bulb syringe is a stand-in for a regular squeeze bulb on a Packard shutter I just purchased. I haven't tried it out yet but as soon as I have some tubing I'll let you know.It works great. Looks funny but whatever. I've been using one for about a decade or two. Mine is green. I think it really is a nose syringe though.
The ear/nose/whatever syringes are good dust blowers, and far cheaper than the photo versions. And can be found just down the street at any drug store! What's not to like??
Probably you want want a dedicated one for each pair of orifices...

I got me a nice tin with Kodak TRI-X Pan rol 100ft of 35mm film expired in 1966.
This film is slightly older than I am. No idea is the film is still good or how much there is left in this tin. I'll see when I receive it.
But it will at least look nice on my desk.
Now I'm gonna look for the right developer + developing time and probably some serious "fog control". Surely it is mentioned here on APUG somewhere ....

Paid for it a bout a week ago but my 28mm lens arrived yesterday. Luckily I'd been checking the tracking and new it should have arrived as the delivery slip (to pick it up from the post office) had found its way into a garden bed.
I bought a Tamon 300mm f5.6 lens with an Adaptall 2 Canon FD mount. The lens appears to be a black version of this: http://forum.mflenses.com/silver-tamron-300mm-f-5-6-adapt-a-matic-or-adaptall-t23757.html
Mine also has no rubber grips but it did only cost me £7. Their forum says it is a transitional Adaptall lens converted from Adapt-A-Matic. I wondered if anyone here had come across this lens before.
Other recent purchases are a boxed Haniimex Sekonic Leader Deluxe L8b and a Rikenon 55mm f2.2 lens at £5 and £2.99 respectively.
The Tamron and Sekonic were from charity shops, the Ricoh lens was from Cash Converters.

That's why I use the Australia Post Parcel Locker service. I got fed up with AusPost contractors who wouldn't deliver to apartments and would just leave a card instead as this speeds up their day. Once you get the card you have to attend the Post Office in business hours with all the hassles that entails - long queues, indifferent staff et al.
With parcel locker service I get an SMS from Aust Post to let me know that I can pickup my goodies 24/7. Just make sure that when buying from overseas that the goods will be passed to Aust Post when they hit OZ. That rules out most, if not all, couriers although I thought I saw somewhere that DHL may be used. I'll be checking that out soon. In Sydney they are expanding location of parcel lockers to include some petrol stations and 7-11's. My nearest one is about 600m away. Better security than getting a parcel left at your doorstep which can also happen sometimes.
I have been at home when I've heard their van arrive and managed to catch them before they've left after leaving a slip and not knocking. It's a house not an apartment and there's a spot to leave things where you wouldn't be able to see it from the road. I think they're either behind on their rounds or just lazy (or a combination).
Luckily, my local post office is in a newsagent and open until 6 so I can usually rush home, get the slip and then make it to the post office in time.

A 5x7 Sinar Norma for $380. It needs some new bubble levels and the bellows need cleaned - hopefully they're just dusty instead of mildewy. Will find out next week when it arrives.

Bought a Voigtländer Brillant with AGC shutter from a friend. I had CLA'd this piece a few years ago and he was cutting down his collection. Still needs a bit of an external clean up and I need to fill in some of the engravings on one of the shutter panels.
A Dremel drill stand/work-station, to help me fabricate item for restorations.

Surf Site Tin Type, by Joni Sternbach.
A Sunpak Auto Pro 120J TTL bare bulb flash unit in the original Nikon TTL kit package. Also includes the TR-Pak IIa external NiCad rechargeable battery pack with charger and adapter.
The entire kit is, amazingly, brand new NOS/NIB and never used. All original manuals and paperwork are included. Been waiting for a nice one for a long while. Didn't expect to get a brand new one.
Even so, I will probably immediately replace the NiCad battery module with a still-available (and more powerful) aftermarket NiMH battery module. And probably pick up a spare module as well for down the road, along with a still-available spare replacement flash tube, just in case.
Sunpak does now make a brand new 120J-II model, but I like the old-school unit as more in keeping with the older cameras where it will be used. I think Sunpak must have seen what those older discontinued models were going for on the used market and jumped back in with a new one.

Just ordered the rest of my supplies to finally finish off my new "darkroom" (okay, darkened corner of the basement). Lots of paper, chemicals, and a new-to-me print washer en route. It's been almost 5 years now and I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl
