A cute, but solid, miniature tripod from the '50s or '60s that extends from 8 inches to about chest high, just perfect for travel. $6.50 at Salvation Army.

10 boxes of FP-100C, need to stock up before WPPD. 10 boxes lasts me about a year.
Another 250 sheet box of 5x7 Adorama VC RC... I burn through a lot of this.. use it for paper negatives, for printing, for solargraphy...

Cool. I used to work in a lab where they used this for scanning to big files. I believe it was an X/Y scanner, sampling in both directions. The quality was outstanding! Needed SCSI interface, though. How do you make that work today?

A pack of Paterson VC printing filters - I was surprised at how flimsy they were.

Berthold Beiler's book 'Denken über Fotografie' [Thinking on Photography] from 1977.
I received it as a gift (!) from an eBay seller from whom I had bought a Meopta negative carrier.
It is a very readable work with strong views on the social importance and responsibility of photography. Beiler made several cogent points that hold validity even today.

Wonderful, good recipe for a lot of joy.

A Canon FTb with 50 mm 1.8 silver nose (??) for Euro 30 (about $ 35).
Never used one of these but I'm told this is a fine camera to shoot with.
It's in the mail, so I'll try it next weekend.

A $50 supplemental donation to Bob Crowley's New55 project.

One of the originally acknowledged project risks came to pass and so they are in need of additional funds to help cover that contingency. I realize that while there are no guarantees in life, there is also no progress without risk.

I'm willing to help mitigate a small part of the ongoing New55 risk with an additional small donation because I stand to gain a wonderful new film option if they can successfully overcome that risk.

After almost 2 years of searching for a nice Hasselblad for a good price I finally got one. I picked up a near mint 1968 Hasselblad 500C body with one A12 back, and the 80mm 2.8 for $600. Even better I traded a DSLR and lens for it, digital just isn't my thing.

Three new sheets of 1/4 inch black covered foam broad to cover and insulate a old galvanized sheet of flat tin from an of an old water heater shed, which will hang on the outside of the bathroom window (where my old Omega sits on the inside) thus stopping a lot of old summer sunlight coming threw that old black paper that is taped to the inside of the window. Cost me a whole $3.00.
