A box of 50 sheets 11x14 Ilford Warmtone VC Fiber paper and a box of 50 sheets 8x10 Ilford Art 300 VC fiber paper. The Art 300 is an experiment to see what some of my images look like with the non-glossy finish, and to play around with a bit of toning and the like.

The incredibly amusing thing about this purchase - it qualified for the free expedited shipping from B&H. When I went to check out, my options were:
Free Expedited shipping - due date today.
Rapid 2 day shipping - $25 - due date: today.
Express 1 day shipping - $35 - due date: today.

Guess which one I picked

Purchased: 500 sheets of 8x10 paper & Kodak 8x10 film dev. tank + 8x10 film hangers. They arrived exactly as described. I've printed about 20 sheets and am entirely satisfied. The tank, I haven't used yet. Visual inspection indicates perfection.

Seller communication: As good as it gets.

Shipping: Yep, well packed and timely.

What else do you want to know?: Uh, what?

Ordered a few Kg of sulfite and hypo from Process Supplies (London).

Friendly and helpful as ever.

We had a chat about price and availability of chemicals (they used to stock a much wider range), and one interesting comment was that they no longer carry Metol partly because they couldn't justify ordering it in quantity because of a lack of demand, but mostly because the price had skyrocketed.

They do see themselves continuing to carry their limited range for the foreseeable future though - which is good news.

(One thing I notice about their current range of raw chemicals is that its really suited to the "alt process" and lith printer rather than the straight b&w film/paper user.)

I've recently bought a canon canonet ql17.

Off topic, but I was recently given a pristine QL 19, with neverready case also pristine. The rangefinder was way off, both ways, but the meter is good and the shutter is active and accurate.
On topic - a 1936 Contax II with 5cm/2 collapsible Sonnar, a couple Z-I filters, original Z-I cap and Z-I hood, case, pouch for accessories..... and the original bills of sale dated July 1937 from Foto Franke on Potsdamer Srasse in Berlin!!

After missing several auctions for 110 reels, I landed a pair of stainless reels using "buy it now" for about sixteen bucks total...

Got a couple of boxes of stuff from a collector who wanted to move it all out to get a jump start on spring cleaning. Still haven't dug through it all but some pretty nifty stuff.

My personal highlights/keeper list:

White or cream colored SX70 with original folding case, which is probably the best color of all of the SX70 versions, there's an aftermarket electronic flash for it too
Super Ikonta with 80/2.8 and that *unique* rotating rangefinder, what a beast of a camera.
Leningrad with shredded shutter curtains. Strange how much better the build quality is on this over the Feds and Kievs I've handled
Leica price guides from M3 era, with pricing notes written in by one of the local camera stores (Nelson Photo in San Diego). They're still in business but don't sell Leicas anymore.

I think this was a good deal. I pick it up Saturday.

3 Calumet (Bowens) Travelite monolights
3 Calumet (Manfrotto) 13' air-cushioned stands
Nova 36x48 softbox
2 45" Calumet umbrellas
Calumet snoot cone
Sekonic Flashmate L-308BII flash meter (looks to be new in box)
Savage Port-a-Stand w/large backdrop
Various reflectors, adapters, cases, brand new replacement bulbs (1 flash, 4 modeling), etc.

Everything pictured is in excellent condition. Owners told me they bought everything brand new and hadn't used it more than a dozen times.

$500

I'm excited.
