Yes, I was well aware that that was your intent. It is an important distinction although my post was tongue in cheek, not to be cheeky.

I know, I was also meaning to just make people aware of the new thread, was more directed at the other poster, not you. Sorry if that didn't come through.

Even though you claim to be joking, you're always Sirius.

A second Hasselblad 500 C/M camera body, with a waist level finder. Needed a backup for my system.

Some Clorox bleach gel to experiment with clearing Fuji FP 100c, and a pound of cashews to eat while reading APUG.

On the last day of 2014 I bought from the auction site, a Graphic film pack adapter with a few sheets of who knows what film left in it, a fresh 50 year old film pack of Plus X, and a (maybe 100 year old) Premo film pack developing tank.

I have two reasons for this idiocy: 1-- to make a film showing the whippersnappers how fast an old press could actually be shot. 2-- to look into the feasibly of manufacturing fresh film packs.

Used Ries Model C tripod. It is just perfect for my Crown Graphic. We shall see how it works with my heavy 8x10. The tripod is light and seems pretty sturdy.

I just bought some Tmax 100 in 120 and 4x5 plus everything I need to process the film. Nothing fancy or pricey... just the bare basics. I'm excited to be starting in B&W analog again.

Yesterday, I purchased a Voigtländer Bessa I that has a 105/3.5 Color-Skopar lens and Synchro-Compur shutter. For the most part it works but I'll have it CLA'd. Didn't come with any 6x4.5 masks but that's alright.
I also bought 10 rolls of 120 Ilford Delta 100 & 10 rolls of 120 Rollei/Agfa Infrared. Oh, and for $1, a small Tamrac bag at the local recycle/reuse center (which is where I found the Voigtländer). It was a good day.

Some folks sure buy a lot of pricey stuff while claiming to be so financially poor and taking all the free things they can get.

£41 in Tax and "handling charge" for my new Photobackpacker outfit for my 6½x8½ stuff. I have been waiting for the robbers in HMRC to release my kidnapped goods. Bruce sent it on 1st December, it was in Heathrow on the 5th December and at 8.32 it was taken away by HMRC Border Control. It was eventually handed over to Parcelforce yesterday who now "handle" it until I pay. Public sector disease in the UK is rife. They really know how to spoil Christmas.

Parcelforce have promised to deliver it tomorrow and I will be delighted to receive it and put it to immediate use...

My second P3 and cases for whole plate Rittreck, lenses and all the other bits arrived this morning. To say I am delighted would be an understatement. I do hope someone can continue in the furrow that Bruce has ploughed for we lucky owners of his system. Everyone that walks any distance with their gear should treat themselves to a Photobackpacker outfit...

(pen name is from fly fishing in Derbyshire where I am a "Regular Rod" although I do still have at least one Led Zeppelin album Houses of the Holy although I no longer have the means to play LPs)

I got a nice Red/Black darkcloth for my 5x4 view camera, and couldn't resist picking up an old Super Ikonta "C" 530/2 6x9 folder that was going for a song.

Very (strangely) excited about my brand new from B&H Portatrace Light box in 11x18 inch size. Nice industrial no frills stainless steel light box with two 5000k bulbs and thick plexiglass top. Much more evenly lit and much brighter than my old one. 89 bucks free shipping... yea.
