It's essentially rebranded Ilford RC from my experience / testing / comparison I couldn't find a difference.

The Oriental Seagull II RC neutral tone paper seems to be much more responsive to toning than the Ilford MGIV RC neutral tone paper. As far as speed and contrast is concerned, the two are similar.

As Ilford/Harman refuse to re-brand their products, I'm sure that it isn't strictly re-branded paper, but it might be produced under contract by Harman for Oriental, according to Oriental's specifications.

Or it might be made for them by Mitsubishi, who otherwise don't seem to export black and white materials out of Japan.

I kind of remember a very specific verbiage by Simon that "we don't rebrand our films" which leaves room for other products but you know more than me and my mind is a sieve... Lol

I've a 2nd 7x5 Seneca City View on it's way from the US (sat at Customs) for parts, I already have one missing quite a few parts and will be able to restore one completely.

There's also a Nikkor-W 240mm f5.6 lens on its way from London to use on one of the Seneca Views (I also have an Improved Seneca View) and I'll make a lens board for the Seneca and also a conversion board to allow me to use it with my 10x8 Agfa Anscos.

Kind of a Christmas gift but I technically bought it even if part of the money was a gift

couid be a give away, freebee, book, equipment, film, chemistry
just something related to making photographs, or thinking about making photographs ...

I don't understand these types of questions. Why do you care and is this a futile attempt to shame me into analog photography?

Not purchase but a freeby. A Manfrotto 058B tripod with 168 ball-head. It's been sitting in an attic for 5 years or so and needs a clean up.
Now I have a firm platform for my RZ67 in a hurricane.
