300 dollars of 120 film... Tri x, acros, fp4, hp5... I'm in heaven

Box of Velvia 50- 120. My first shots at Fujichrome. I decided to get over the fact that Ektachrome is gone.

Citric acid.

Heh

I'm doing the opposite. I've sold all my color film, and am in the process of selling a LOT of photography equipment I never use. Going to focus on using the Hasselblad camera. Will keep two 35mm cameras, pinhole, and maybe a Holga. The rest goes...

What do you think of Velvia?

I have only processed one roll so far, but what I have seen so far, I really like! I was so scared of Velvia for some reason. I just have a quote in my head that I think was said on the old Inside Analog Photo saying something like "You know, that film looks like someone fell asleep on the saturation slider at the factory"

I finally scored a 4x6 speed ez-al. It's an old white model, pretty much mint, and came in the original box with original sales pamphlet. Searched forever for one. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423175116.932156.jpg

Check out those original prices, with tax too!

Also my set of Fan Ho's 3 photographic books finally arrived from modern book gallery. It only took them 6 months to ship haha.

Nice! I really like the speed ez-al! I am so glad that I was able to score a "full frame" 8x10 easel. I like the two wider borders on the long side of the print

I'm jealous! I want one of those too... probably need to put up a "WTB" thread. Although I've gotten better at using my homemade matboard one, so maybe it doesn't matter as much anymore.

I just ordered (off that big auction site) a pair of FD lenses: 35mm F2.8 (FDn I think) and 100mm F2.8 (chrome nose)

I've settled on my trifecta of primes being 35/50/100. I have this setup on both digital and 645, but in 35mm, I've only had 28mm (too wide for me), 50mm, and 135mm (too long for working with my subjects). I had hoped to find them in OM (my main system), but holy cow, those lenses are expensive (both on the auction site and keh) in OM. The Canon equivalents cost me half as much (and since my FD cameras is my Dad's AE-1 which I will never part with due to sentimenal feelings, I don't really mind building up that system a bit). I'm particularly happy with the chrome nose for no reason other than it looks beautiful.

Crap, now I'm browsing FTb and F1 ads... hmm, 85mm f1.8 for a "travel pair" of 35/85... no no no stupid GAS...

I just ordered a Nikon -3 diopter eye-piece from KEH. I'm going to adapt it to fit my Pentax K2. I already have a couple of Pentax viewfinder magnifiers with variable dioptric correction, but using a magnifier makes it hard to view the meter without turning the camera at a 45 degree angle. With a little bit of adjustment, the Nikon eye-piece should just slide onto the Pentax.

Also, some old K-mount lenses: Vivitar 24mm/f2.8 prime +hood, & Takumar 28-80mm/f3-4.5 zoom. I think everything had "MACRO" ascribed to it back in the late 1970s. The Vivitar is virtually brand new - not a mark on the mount or anywhere else. The Takumar is heavy and solid and focuses quite smoothly. Both have the "A" setting for "Program Mode" full-auto exposure.

My latest: K screen for my F3P (which already has a matte screen) and a VC-II meter to perch on top of my M3, both are basic quality of life items.

I should coco!

A large Visa bill for the processing of some 60-odd rolls of 35mm E6 (E100G and E100VS). Yes, I know I should be be doing it myself, but leisure time is a bit of a luxury at the moment. Besides, I would really rather be be shooting than souping...

Nothing wrong with helping to keep the lights on at an E6 processor.

Rather than mixing food with the film, skip to soup and develop the film instead.

Some more HP5+ 120 after I was able to finally sell all of my Acros. I feel quite please with that.

I picked up a Schneider Symmar-S 360mm f6.8. Here it is next to Nikon 210mm f5.6 for comparison.
