They're breeding!

I got a good score on a new old stock 5020 with Extra Bright Module. It's not as clever as its 9010 cousins but will accept their commands at the end of a daisy chain. The Ektapros have a 0.8 second slide change speed and my aim is to produce three projector dissolves at just under 3fps. I'm hoping this will look good projecting high speed skateboard sequences.

I haven't found a way for all three to talk to each other yet, that's a winter project / headache!

Good heavens, long time ago I had a wonderful set of four Carrousels, all with fine Benoist Berthiot lenses, synchronised with a SIMDA module and a HUER tape sound system, but as nobody wanted it, I sold it for alms on a vide-greniers...
And now, this slide projecting thing is all coming back!
I feel sad now...

Custom Bellows shipped my new bellows. Actually 4 bellows for 3 cameras. One each for my 5x7 & 6.5x8.5 Eastman Kodak 2D’s and a 7x17 For my Folmer & Schwing banquet camera. Attached is a photo from Keith at Custom Bellows.

It took some time, to get all parts together, but now my latest camera purchase, a Mamiya RB67 Professional SD, is complete so far as I have a functional camera. I bought it as broken, because the seller wasn't sure what or how to test the functionality and it turned out that the 50mm lens indeed had some issues. But I found a nice 140mm macro lens and replaced the Pro S film back by a newer SD version, replaced the focus screen, because it was a grid one, and the viewfinder, because it was bend and moved around a lot.

Is that the Markins Q10i or M10? How is it with the 140mm lens?
This is a Markins M10. I bought it some time ago to support "heavy" DSLRs like the Nikon D2H back in the days, but I am quite happy that I went big back then. It handles the RB67 and the 140mm lens with no issues. I just got the extension tubes last week and did some test shots the other day. I had to adjust it a little bit to make it smoother to turn while not getting to loose to easy, but it works very well in my opinion. I did not weigh that combo, but it sure weighs a lot.

This morning (payday) I bought a set of Kodak color print viewing filters (working my way toward RA-4, a little at a time), and a 3D printed film cutter that turns a roll of 120 into a (16 exposures of 4x4) 127 and a 16mm strip long enough for two Minolta 16 loads. Relative to RA-4, I passed on a number of print drums that were missing their pour-through light tight caps, and a set that had their caps but looked like they're been through a war...

It looks great! Now shoot some film.

That's beautiful, I was in high school when I first saw a RB. It was out of my price range. Eventually I bought a RZ II. I use the 110 mm lens and the left hand grip. I've carried that camera all over in the last 20 years. Love it. I had a RB lens in the past and it worked great with my RZ. The beauty of the RB is no electronic stuff to go wrong. The grip makes these great hand held.

last month, Mamiya C220 with 80mm f2.8 great condition and new light seals. w00t!!
two weeks ago, co-worker donated her Canon AE1 Program, 50mm F1.8 not used in 20+ years. mint condition. w00t!
last week, Canon A1 with 35-105 zoom from estate sale, after fixing mild shutter squeal, it is like new.

I think that is it "for now"

I got a very good condition Fujinon SW 105mm f8 lens in a Seiko shutter on a Technika style lens board (Toyo made) for about $96 shipped from a japanese seller on eBay. It's the older single coated version, but for under a hundred dollars, I'm not going to complain.

Today I bought a Premier 4-in-1 Easel -- a slightly upmarket seeming variant of the four format Speed-ez-el that was popular when I was in high school in the 1970s (and, as I recall, for many years before that). Preset to put a standard border on four standard sizes of enlarging paper (8x10, 5x7, 4x6 and 3x5, approximately), it allows quick and easy setup to make set print sizes in quantity -- or just not have to worry about whether your easel blades are square to the frame. I paid $11 plus $9 shipping (rounded off the loose change); other listing for similar items were running around four times that price.

Yesterday am, from The Lab, here in Vancouver, a load of processed E6 (35mm and 120), and a few rolls of processed 120 PanF+. Bill totaled in excess of $300, but cleared some much-needed room in my refrigerator's freezer compartment. Now down to my last 6 propacks - plus a few loose rolls of the PB 01/14 E100G that I purchased at the time of Ektachrome's discontinuation last decade. Rather pleased to see that the film, thus far, has shown no discernible color shifts or speed loss (I'll confess to not having the same confidence in Ektachrome as I did in my beloved Kodachrome). Planned excursions to Banff in August, and Tofino in October should exhaust the stash that remains. Then it will be time to try out E100 in 120.

A lens spanner and a Sunset foto metal hotshoe for a Vivitar 285, which, if it works well, will likely lead to additional shoes as I want to replace several 283/285 OEM flash foots.

I guess I will also go ahead and buy a JCIS screwdriver set, as I have several repairs to make as well as cleaning dead fungus from Pentax 135mm 2.5 lens.

Literally five minutes ago, I sent a PM to buy my second Kiev 4 -- backup camera for the one I have.

Got a Nikon Photomic FTn at a yard sale. Need to get some directions for this one but the shutter works at least. My only Nikon so far.

50 sheets of 11X17 Aurora Art White 285 from Red River. One nice thing about 11x17 is it also makes two 8.5/11. No OBAs, "semi smooth" 100% cotton.

Got two 52mm K&F Circular Polarizer's from B&H today

Two LPL enlargers - 7700/670 versions - one with VCCE head, the other with a dichroic colour head.
From a downsizing high school darkroom - at least the program is continuing with fewer than the ~ 12 enlarger stations used formally.
One of the lenses included is a latest model Schneider Componon-S 50mm f/2.8 - I paid in total for everything just over $100 CDN.
I'm afraid my Beseler 67C + colour heads days are numbered.

Just a few minutes ago, I authorized Amazon to send me a 4L graduated pitcher for darkroom use.

A few days ago, R09 One Shot (wish me luck)

Just arrived from auction seller, "Black and white Photography" by Henry Horenstein, autographed!
(as recommended here on the forum)

@jay moussy That's a Rodinal clone in single-use packets? Seems like the expensive way to do Rodinal. Something to be said for being able to toss a couple packets in a suitcase, though, especially if you have fixer in the same format.

30 ea. 2x4 studs, a pocket door hanging kit, a pocket door and a slew of screws, caulk, adhesive, a circular saw... all for the darkroom...
