My new toy for temperature control. Just testing it here both at 102° F and also at 70° F. Held very steady at 102°, but at 70° I was having ambient air temperature problems so I’ll have to retest when it’s cooler.

Thanks! I just wish I wasn't cooped up in my apartment teaching online classes during these beautiful days (it was 30C yesterday - that's hot for early May in Japan). I may be able to get out tomorrow to run a roll or two through the Rollei.
Hopefully! Take care and all the best.

Placed a Freestyle order last night -- five rolls of XP2 Super in each of 35 mm and 120, a box of .EDU Ultra pearl finish VC 8x10 enlarging paper, makes-a-gallon powder Legacy Pro paper developer (generic for Dektol -- in case my fourteen year old double strength Dektol stock has gone bad in storage), and a Holga selfie lens w/ composing mirror, for use with (or adaptation to) my Debonair. Hey, for four bucks, I can make it work.

And now I've ordered a Jupiter 9, 135mm f/4 for my Kiev 4M. Coming from Ukraine, so it'll be here in July on economy shipping, but under $50 including shipping and sales tax. Was actually looking for a Jupiter 9 (85 mm f/2) but they were all more than I was willing to spend right now.

Hmmm. G.A.S. or just working on outfitting a new system? Last night, along with a correctly sized lens cap for my Rollei 35 and a pouch to carry filters in (for when I get some filters, in transit from China), I ordered a 250 f/4.5 Sekor lens for my RB67. Roundly like a 135 mm on 35 mm film, and reasonably fast for its size -- because the RB67 isn't heavy enough as it is. Still, it's a lot of glass for $90 shipped. Might need to order a back cap or two, and look into getting a proper camera bag...

Nikkor-SW 75mm f4.5. I'm re-outfitting my LF/4x5 setup. I had one good lens (a 150 Schneider Symmar-S), and two usable but junky lenses (a 90mm angulon thats fine but a pain to use, and a Schneider 210mm with dented rings an a missing aperture indicator.) So this is a good wide (still need a lens board), and I have a Fujinon CM-W 250mm f6.3 arriving next week. The 90 Angulon I may save for a Wanderlust camera, just because its cheap and easy, and is designed for this lens. The 210 works, but has too much wrong with it to resell, so it will probably just go in a drawer.

I also added a sous vide cooker to my developing kit. $18 on eBay. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow.

I can't believe I did it but after much procrastination and trying to decide which one to get and which format... I bought another pinhole camera! I think I might be hooked! It's the RSS 6x6 with filter holder. It will be in good company I'm sure!

A diopter lens to use attached to the normal lens of a Bell & Howell Filmo Eight on the 605 titler. Am thinking of starting a title factory, only physical titles. Large ones will be shot from tripod. Full of contempt of electronic lettering

Things for my 60s-70s retro large format basement studio. A 13x18/5x7 and also 18x24/8x10 Sinar Bag Bellows. To finish out two of my Sinar Normas. I use a second bag bellows on the back of the camera, and add a magnifying eyepiece which works great for viewing. Also got a generic 13x18/5x7 fresnel lens which should arrive today. So I am finally finishing out my 5x7 and 8x10 Normas cameras for wide angle use.

Also a very nice Broncolor 404 Strobe pack rated at 1600 watt seconds. I also have it's larger brother which is the 606 and generates 6000 watt seconds. I have a lot of early Broncolor parts and this is a vital piece to own. I watched the strobe pack for years before finally going for it.

New Sinar Norma second 4x5 one by Nokton48, on Flickr

Having multiple cameras is real luxury and means that they can be configured and left setup as long as required. This is my second 4x5 Norma now have two, plus a 5x7 Norma and an 8x10.
One of the 4x5s will stay on the Norma Copy Stand/Overhead
Shooting Table.

This one is a shelf queen, a few small scrapes, but used little and basically stored for sixty years. Probably my cleanest Norma and does need a good cleaning, and could use a new bellows, big tear can be repaired with 3M black teflon tape for now. Tight everywhere and basically ready to use.

Zeiss Distagon 28mm f:2.0 ZE. I’ve never been a big fan of 28mm lenses for 35mm, but I’m shooting video indoors lately, don’t have a lot of space to maneuver, and a 35mm lens is too tight and a 24mm is too wide. Took it for a walk to shoot some digital stills and landscapes around the neighborhood, and it’s a beautiful lens like my other Zeiss primes—great color, sharp where it should be, and smooth bokeh. I don’t think it will replace my 24mm f:3.5 TS-E II for landscapes, but it has its attractions. Have to put some film behind it and give it a go.

Payday today. Now that I have two lenses for my RB67, I need more caps. Ordered three rear lens caps (from China, be here in 2-4 weeks), a body cap (which may eventually develop a pinhole in the exact center :whistling: ) -- and a 2x teleconverter (which appears to include both of its caps).

Yes, Donald, one may never neglect lens- and body caps, still the best way to protect your gear, but they get lost so easily...

That's what keepers are for. Must get some of those sometime soon...
