BTW, @Alexander K I'd expect to get better results with XP2 in something like HC-110 or Xtol (or a clone). I've used Df96 monobath (treat as Delta 400). Then again, you could just shorten your time in Rodinal...

Thank you, Donald Qualls, I settled on Rodinal and reduced the time and reducing ISO. The optimal is 250ISO with a margin in the shadows and highlights.

And that's about what I'd expect with Rodinal in normal development.

Now let me tell you how I have gotten the full box speed back in (Pa)Rodinal: I develop at 1:50, but I extend the development time (IIRC, about double "normal"), and I agitate only two gentle inversions every third minute. Development times run up to 20 minutes, but you get Rodinal character (acutance, crisp grain) and recover most or all of the 1/3 to 2/3 stop of speed loss Rodinal would normally give.

Edit: I was going to paste in the times I used to use with a couple example films (haven't used Parodinal in a while, I should probably mix up a batch), but apparently, I can't use the Wayback Machine from my work network because it isn't https compliant.

And in return, I'll try to remember to put my developer formula/times page back up on my Dropbox.

Oly Pen EE-2 with mangled leftover of Kentmere 100 that should yield 20 frames or so. Will be developed in D-76 1+1

Test roll in my refurbed MInolta 35; HP5 souped in HC-110 dil. B. I may have just enough syrup left for one more roll, then my bottle of HC-110 (old stuff) is done. Got a fresh bottle of Legacy 110 standing by; we'll see how (if) it measures up.

Toho FC-45X (4x5) Camera.
Rodenstock 135mm f/5.6 Lens.
Fuji Neopan 100 Acros (Rated at E.I. 100).
Developed in Kodak XTOL 1+1.

I hadn't used this camera in more than a year and I fumbled through the first set-up. I will be using this combination again this coming week on the same hike.

I just finished a roll of Fuji Provia 100 in one of my Canon New F1-AE's, and posted it to Ag Photolabs for processing.
