This afternoon, while strolling the flea markets, I put an inaugural roll through my new-to-me Pentacon F with Zeiss 50/2.8 Tessar.
I shot Fomapan 100 at 100 and used a #8 yellow filter.
It hasn't been developed yet, but it will get a bath in D-76 1:1.

Minox LX, Ektar, BlueMoon. BW Minox film I process but leave color to Blue Moon. These tough little cameras, especially models III and B, will still be going strong long after most cameras have bit the dust.

This was the first time I'd used the XA, which I bought a few years ago. Exposure meter is accurate, viewfinder needle is accurate, rangefinder is excellent. Got some great shots, especially close-in.

Sounds good-I've been loving my XA2, especially for street photography. I might get an XA to go with it some time!

A recently acquired, low mileage SP w/50mm takumar and a getting to know each other roll of tri x at 1250 in diafine. What I learned: I've become, over the years, too dependent on in camera meters. The one in the camera works but is quite slow so I just used basic exposure. It reminded me of when I was starting out. Aside from the darling grand daughter photos there is a frame that's interesting and a couple more with potential so I'd say a decent experience. Thanks.

Oh, oh, I keep finding films at home that I forgot to develop. Here is some TMax 400, developed in Xtol. Exposed with a Hasselblad 501CM and 50mm Distagon lens in the little town of Learned, Mississippi. The TMax 400 was an experiment. It is amazingly fine grain, but I think I prefer the "look" of regular Tri-X 400.

Well three cameras really last Friday to Monday , y Rolleiflex Automat MXV with Delta 100 & 400, my Agfa Ansco Commercial View & 12" Dagor with Adox/EFKE PL25, and finally the Wista 45DX with a 120mm f6.8 Angulon and a 240mm f5.6 Nikkor W, and Delta 100. I hadn't used either lens before despite owning the Nikkor for maybe 2 years and the Angulon 6 months but bot gave great results as expected

My wife just received a Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20 from her her father. It was originally her grandfather's camera. We cleaned it as best as we could. Had to put the shutter on B and hold it open to clean the lens from the "inside" with a Q-tip. Re-spooled a 120 roll of Ultrafine Xtreem 400 onto 620 spools and ran it thru the camera. It was an overcast day (no shadows). Developed in Rodinall 1:50 for 20 minutes. Got great negatives (density wise). Focus wasn't sharp even with objects at infinity. But the photos it took did have the look I would expect (have seen) from cameras of this era. We will try 100 ASA on a bright sunshine day. The most enjoyable part of this day was the look on my wife's face and the enjoyment she had using her grandfather's camera and developing the film. The negatives fit perfectly in my 6X9 neg carrier.

Because my wife had so much fun with this camera, I bought the cheapest one I could find on E-bay with the intent of taking it apart (and not worrying if I broke something) to learn how to disassemble it. It being an all metal camera, I wasn't sure how they put it together, or if I could take it apart to get at the shutter and to be able to get inside to clean the "flip-away close-up" lens, hence the purchase of the "guinea-pig". Once I figured it out, I was able to get the lens board out and have access to all the mechanical workings with out destroying it! Now I feel confident I can get inside my wife's camera with no issues and be able to clean all the lens surfaces, etc. We also got some 1/2 inch wide black leather strap and replaced the broken strap. It looks great. All photo credits to my wife!
