My rarest...note the 'M System' engraved on the front of the 28mm f/3.5 lens, not 'OM System'. I have an M System 135mm f/3.5 as well.

You'd get more mileage out of the Chrysler.

I already have 240,000+ on my 1997 Ford Explorer and 150,000+ on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

760mm F14 Rodenstock Apo Ronar Rock Solid Sinar Norma Mount, built from Norma Parts Box Stuff. This 760mm F14 is the Iddy Biddy Little Brother of the 1000mm F16 Apo Ronar that is on the way. Shown with Norma Shutter #6 ready to go. This is going to work perfectly. I'll also do this same thing with the bigger lens.

My newest and now probably rarest lens:

24mm Lithagon for my East German Edixa Reflex.

The Lithagon was one of the first retrofocus 24mm designs. Everyone knows the Flectagon, but not many know of the Lithagon; different manufacturer also. The Lithagon is made by Enna.

Gotta be one of my large format camera/lenses. Only because they're really old and probably not a lot available now. Modern lens, probably the pentax 67 75mm f2.8.

It's not that super rare, but on a performance x rarity multiplier, a Leica 100mm f/2.8 APO Macro Elmarit-R with a Leitax mount for Nikon, is pretty amazing.

Very susceptible to flare due to the completely flat rear surface (infinite radius of curvature?) of the final element, but otherwise it's a practically a perfect optic.

It's not a rare model (Canon P) but this one belonged to actor Mike Connors who played TV's "Mannix"

I bought it at his estate sale earlier this year.

Rarest thing I've got is a K1000 engraved as #1 of 5 as owned by the N.Thurston High School photography program at one point.

Bought this a few years ago at a flea market - attached to a battered Minolta SRT-101, the MC Rokkor 58mm F1.2 Apparently it is fairly rare, but it wonderful lens. I use it on my mirrorless Z6 and Fuji.

Oh wow! What a stroke of luck!

Well not totally lucky, there is this giant flea/antiques market held twice a year up in Springfield Ohio. I go up occasionally and spend the day trolling through boxes "stuff" which include many old camera's - most of the sellers are antiques people and do not seem to know the least about cameras/lenses. I admit I probably went through many, many boxes to find this one. While I really enjoy these vintage lenses - there are very few that stand up to modern lenses in terms of image quality - this one stopped down to F/2 or so is amazingly sharp, even by today's standards.

With an approximate date of 1858 and seldom seen, Josef petzval's second design the Landscape variation made by A.Ross here with f13.5 16.5"focal length (back focus) and covering 10x12"
