Just developed a roll of Ektar 100. First of it through my Minolta. I'm really excited about the last 20 shots....I hiked to a waterfall I've been wanting to go in Autumn for years today. I climbed all over its 100 feet of cascading water and rocks. I think I got some neat shots.
Two of my favorites:

It was a lovely grey day here in Seattle, with stiff winds and a little horizontal rain. So I went on a walkabout in the city and fired off a roll and a half of XP2 Super. Finished off a roll of Portra 800 in a little pocket camera for those rare foliage shots.

"Lovely"? I spent the same day in the same geographical area as you did today... Ok, I was 25 miles south of Seattle. "Lovely" is not an adjective I would have chosen. My wife tried gamely to get autumn leaves in that horizontal rain, but her pictures kinda sucked. A little sun would have been in order. Color slide film, color print film, b&w print film, it would have been a "fail" day regardless. I know, as my b&w stuff was drab and contrastless today.

My use of the word 'lovely' was done with tongue in cheek of course, much easier when typing than speaking. One of my friends pointed out to me a few years ago that if we took pictures only during nice weather here we wouldn't get out very often. Besides, I did see a patch of blue sky, however briefly. My intent was to shoot some large old churches with dripping stone walls etc from up close, and other sorts of gloomy subjects. I didn't take a tripod with me, as mine is rather big and heavy, so it'll be interesting to see how many shots are actually squared and sharp, considering the pummeling I was taking from the wind. I did enjoy myself.

There's some Ektar 100 in the Rolleicord, some Sensia 100 in the Contaflex Super B and some Kodak BW 400 CN in an EOS 650...

I shot a roll of 135 Fuji Provia 400X mainly to test my Canon 300TL speedlight.

Given the paucity of color right now...I turned to my favorite black and white film for landscape work, and shot six rolls -more or less - of Pan F Plus last Saturday in Banff and Lake Louise. I will let another dozen or so rolls accumulate and then pick a rainy Saturday or Sunday and have a marathon souping-session.

One roll of Kodak Portra 160 for my mother in law's wedding last Monday. The colours are very realistic (as they should be).

35mm Tri-X, souped in PMK.
120 Fomapan 400, also souped in PMK. I'm dabbling with PMK, as you might surmise, having a bit of fun.

I recently used new Portra 160 for some shots of a Rollei I'm selling. Developed and scanned at home:

That Rollei is really cool!

I've been shooting new Portra 400 in 120 and 4x5. Handheld 4x5, exposed at 1600. Really great film.
