Just bought the above Weston Meter (Or Photronic Exposure Meter as it is written on the meter itself) for a fair price. Working wonderfully well for its age - 90 years!

The film speeds (Weston film speeds) seem to be very slow speeds, range from 1 through to 64. (1, 1.2, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 24, 32, 40, 50 & 64)!!

Now, I know that film speed ratings etc, changed over the years, more so in c1960/61 when film speed doubled.

Can anyone please tell me from the above film speeds, what the equivalent film speeds are today - eg does Speed 64 = 64 of today??

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks 👍
