There used to be a function under "Thread Tools" that allowed one to "Ignore" a thread. The same can be accomplished if one does "Ignore" to the OP of the thread. Then the thread will disappear.
 
Why would anyone want this thread to die? Eli could stumble onto one at a yard sale, flea market etc.
And I want to hear if he does!

But what if the price tag on it was, say, $25? Would you walk away?
 
The $10 price reflects the 'spirit' of the ask, so no, a $25 tag would be acceptable 'price', however, that does no mean I'm changing the original ask in this thread.

Hmm. So at what point would the price become unacceptable to the 'spirit'?
 
The OP will get his $10 Leica rangefinder when I loose 20 pounds and become 50 years younger will all the physical ramifications.
 
I can probably procure a $10 Leica rangefinder for the OP, personally delivered to Paris. Buyer pays round-trip, first-class airfare and accommodations.
 
Reading some of the posts above, another fellow might just get depressed and give up.

No me however, my ask stands.

As far as some of these questions go, if you're online writing discouraging post to me, well, at least you'll no be kicking your dog so often and it can come out from beneath the bed for awhile.

With inflation, does the $10 price point remain or has it gone up to $13.27?
 
Sure I would like a pristine M series Leica for $10US and while we are at it I would like to be 50 years younger and 20 pounds lighter will all the physical ramifications. If there is still space, I could go for a new body replacement too. What else do you have available?
