When was the last time your device had a CLA…!
Just wack it with a hammer a few times and it will be better.

Tread carefully. N2 often speaks in metaphor and refers to things you might want to wack to feel better , but not with a hammer!

Good, it’s supposed to look like that!Perhaps if you just attached the scan from your computer, it would look better. It kinda looks like it's been fried in a tablespoon of oil.
There’s really nothing wrong with the prints or scans when you interpret them correctly…!
However, not at all helpful as diagnostic tools to determine if your camera is operating correctly. Phone photos of a screen viewing a scan are so far removed from the original negatives it's impossible to tell anything useful from them.
At this point, is anything being diagnosed? Seems like you have either an explanation or acceptance of all that were prior concerns.
I like the painterly effect in some of your artworks. Please refresh my memory, what film were you using? I went through the thread and couldn't find where I thought you already mentioned that.
I truly like the results I'm getting from the F2. Dean supports my decision that I probably don't need a CLA if I`m happy with the prints from the lab...!

So far so good...!WONDERFUL... your anxiety and potential dilemna have been resolved.
I`m using Ektar 100 for my film...!
Well, gosh… that explains a lot. Ektar features robust colors and very narrow scale that makes exposure a bit challenging. Not my favorite film at all but if you like it then it’s good for you. Try shooting some “normal” film and then reassess if your meter head is wonky or not, or if your F2 really needs a CLA or if one might just be good for future reliability.
I kept using an F2 that had a loud ping when firing from a degraded foam in the mirror box for years until it got too annoying & I retired it pending a CLA.
Finally got that done by Newton Ellis in Liverpool a month or so back. Running a test film through it still, but so far, it seems like they have done a really good job on it.
