It's moiré. I think we are looking of phone photos of the computer screen upon which the scanned images are being viewed. We are not looking at photos of a 4x6 print. Also explains the odd contrast and colour balance.
Yes, correct...!

Perhaps it’s time for a new lab, gents. Mine processes, scans, and has portal for digital downloads… the same day as the film is processed. They only send CD if you pay extra for it.

I pay extra for it…!

I live in Wadena, Oklahoma.
Have a Moyers address since Wadena has a population of under 100.
That’s our cabin a few hundred yards from those photos…!

Very cute. What are those square things attached to your cabin?

The solar panels feed the batteries which stores electricity and automatically gives us power if the grid fails...!

Ohhh, so you use batteries in times of emergency! The irony of demanding a mechanical camera with wonky exposures when you see batteries as your savior in your home life...

Okay folks, cut it out or take it private!
Hat off.

I was just about to flick my last umbrage your way…!

Hat off.

But it was just too easy!

Anyway, great idea to have solar panels w battery back up. Everyone should have that get up. Definitely will do that on my next house.

As for your images - if you want to mail me one film strip I would be happy to scan them w my digicam as I do all my film, so we can see what is actually going on.
With exposure it is tough as that depends on how you adjusted your camera settings, but the reality is in daylight Sunny F16 is the way to go. Bright sunshine = f16 @ 1/film ISO, so for your Ektar that would be f16 @ 1/125. If anything with color neg film (C41) err on too much exposure, so you can go f11 @ 1/125 etc.

The blues are dreadful.

Might be worth looking at the negs for truth. Prints and scans are often corrected… not a good measure of truth.

I know nothing about Oklahoma except where it is in the map. The scenery is very nice. Not what I expected (but I really didn’t know what to expect so that says very little).

I think the blues are beautiful and brings out the character of the O.C. lens as special and unique…!

👍

Actually I tend to create my own photos with an artistic touch to be different than the norm. A uniqueness and signature that’s my own personal identity…!

Again I try to be unique and create my own personal artwork in my photography. When I’m told something is different, colors are off, not having correct exposure is what I’m trying to achieve…!

The Nikkor 35mm f/2 O.C. is my special medium to paint landscapes…!

I talked to Dave at Process One about why the color of the water was so blue. He said water is always blue in the shade. We can’t see it but film is much more sensitive than our eyes…!

I used a Nikkor 50mm f/2 pre AI with my F2…!

You really need better scans. Those are terrible. It looks like they were taken with a 1 mp HP digital camera. from 2002. Your film has to be better than that.

They’re shots from my iPhone of the prints.
Taken from my iPhone 13 Pro Max!
They look great on my devices…!

Maybe your device needs an upgrade…!

When was the last time your device had a CLA…!
