Bad example. Don't worry, I'll help you out. Here are pics of two of mine - undented and working perfectly.

The silver camera has a black prism and the black camera has a silver prism. Do these camera have identity issues?

At 4x6 the prints of the Nikkor 35mm O.C. looks fine, blown up it doesn't...!

Shade would be shade. There would still be detail in it. Not haze.
Don`t forget, I'm using a smartphone to take pictures of the prints.
It looks much darker with more detail on the original print...!

Do you only get prints, or do you also get scans from your film? If you only get prints it is very hard to tell if anything is working correctly.

I do that so I can use colour and black and white film in either camera.

" 'I see', said the blind man to his deaf wife as he picked up his hammer and saw."

There is a CD with the photos...!

Strange, no issues with mine.
I must of miss focused, it doesn't show on the original prints, but blown up it shows...!

Ok, those will be jpegs. You should look at those on your computer - or post them here. Will give a much better idea as to what is going on.

My computer that i use for this group has no CD player.
The computer that does is very old and will not work on WiFi, sorry...!

I use USB sticks to transfer files like that from one to another.
Or I just email the files to myself.

Perhaps it’s time for a new lab, gents. Mine processes, scans, and has portal for digital downloads… the same day as the film is processed. They only send CD if you pay extra for it.

The original prints look far more natural than the CD scanned ones.
Again, these shots were taken from the computer screen of the CD scans...!

My last roll sent to the lab I used a Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 lens.
But I like the characteristics of the Nikkor 35 O.C. It reminds me of a painting...!

The blues are dreadful.

Might be worth looking at the negs for truth. Prints and scans are often corrected… not a good measure of truth.

I know nothing about Oklahoma except where it is in the map. The scenery is very nice. Not what I expected (but I really didn’t know what to expect so that says very little).

If those scans are from Ektar, the scanner may have had the wrong profile. I'd guess they were not exposed correctly, though. I'd love to know @DREW WILEY's opinion (although I can guess what it would be).

Forget the colour and exposure for the moment. What are all those weird parallel lines all over the pics?

The first print shows digital artifacts.

It's moiré. I think we are looking of phone photos of the computer screen upon which the scanned images are being viewed - or indeed digital originals. We are not looking at photos of a 4x6 print. Also explains the odd contrast and colour balance.

The pattern only occurs with the interference of two grids, such as the LCD array in a computer screen and the digital sensor of a phone or camera. It would be impossible for this pattern to occur if the original was a print, as it would have no second grid. Also impossible from a film capture, as the silver grains are randomly distributed.

From the screen of the computer...!
