I did look quite hard before but all I want is a rough idea as to which to look. It would probably have taken less words to tell me than your response did. Can anyone else help?Look harder. It will come to you.
I don't see the 8, but I do see a slightly lighter, sideways "KOD" running up the base of the lamp into the area where the bulb is.I did look quite hard before but all I want is a rough idea as to which to look. Backing paper mottle is usually a sign of exposure to excess humidity - long a known potential issue with all 120 films. Often a result of insufficient warming up time from colder storage conditions.
I see a vertical KOD on the base of the lamp. Not an 8.

You have one poor monitor to not be able to see this.
Your last two comments have not exactly been kind in how you presented them. Any way you can be more respectful / helpful of what Pentaxuser is asking for?
Thanks!
See post #108.
Thanks Ai Print but they were not meant to be kind or helpful comments. I am not sure what the comments were trying to do but I can say that RattyMouse can at least be sure that I will not bother him again in asking for help. So I will not bother him again and that ensures that he need not be bothered in providing any answers. Isn't that what J. K Galbraith calls a "win/win" solution.Your last two comments have not exactly been kind in how you presented them. Any way you can be more respectful / helpful of what Pentaxuser is asking for?

+1, I have several rolls of film that were affected by the number imprinting but zero with the mottling. It does not mean the imprint issue did not exist with this roll of film but the severe mottling suggests it is far more than that if that at all.
What frame is this? As I have found the offset image may bear no relation to the actual negative number.I've contacted Kodak Alaris, will report back when they reply. Here is an example frame
