A print I just finished for a friend. Awaiting the frame.

(it's a bit lighter in real life than it appears in this photograph)

That’s a nice one, love the old cars.

Here’s one I just mounted, I also have a framed version that I just dropped off for an Art Guild of Pacifica members show.

How about on the floor?

These are the postcards for my part of "Art at the Source," our county's largest annual art event. Gallery reception tomorrow, then I'l see how things look on the wall

Seemed well-received? I was busy talking to quite a few people (too busy to take pix!) but noticed some folks snapping phones and staring at this one, so that's something I guess.

Thought I'd revive the thread with this one...

I shot this at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA in 2023. It was shot on HP5+ and printed on Ilford Multigrade Fiber paper.

I included the print in a portfolio of twenty images called 'The Historics' that I presented at a portfolio review in March. The framed print is currently hanging on my living room wall with a couple more in the series.

Here are a handful of pieces I have hanging up around that house that I am proud of or have some sort of attachment to. I don't usually share my work for personal reasons and I don't digitize my analog work so sharing can be difficult. Excuse the cruddy cell phone images, I'd like to think these look better in person

Found that I had a couple 12x16 pieces of 8 ply 'Natural White' from way back in the days of Light Impressions. I managed to cut the 4x10 window with the first try -- framed it up for a friend's much delayed birthday gift.

But until she picks it up, it's on my wall. 😎

Mill Creek, Jed. Smith Redwoods State Park, CA. Carbon Print...an iPhone image of the finished piece.

I was always a fan of waxed natural wood or lightly stained oak or beech frames, after seeing all the photographs in these posts; I'm liking the black frames with a white or off white double mount board.

I will frame and matte to fit the piece when I think it will enhance the image, but I usually default to a plain black frame and white matte. At my local framing shop it is one of the cheaper options, but I also find it pretty universal where it can be hung most places without looking out of place. Also I find it can really add to the punch of an image, especially if the image is pretty high contrast.
