I tried this out the last two evenings using two Kodak Pro Image 100 negatives and Ilford MGIV RC paper.
At f8 and the enlarger head set to 65M I was at 30 seconds for a 5x7 on one negative. The second one needs more work and I stopped for the moment. Contrast was still high on both so hopefully won't run out of filter with other films.
Seems like i might try that again in the future. Could come in handy.
