Wow!! Smallest round I've had and I think I joined in round 8 from memory. Has been a while since I've said "Sign me up for the MAX!" - once again looking forward to all the cards this round.

BTW: in the old thread was a small discussion:

I'm not sure, but I think this may be the smallest postcard exchange ever. I might be able to try something a little different as a result.
Let's all send each other one card on time and a second one late ??
One card in June and a 2nd in July? I'd be game

I thought I'll just mention it as a hint (no obligations though) for everyone who wants to "max out" in this small exchange. :whistling:

Wow, I received my first card in this PCX-35 yesterday!! It's from my neighbor Uwe (piu58) in Germany. A beautiful print of a well composed image made with a Rolleiflex. It's printed on Efke paper. I like the looks and handling of this paper. This one is going up on my wall in my darkroom.
Thanks, Uwe!

I can promise 2, but it will be like July and August, since I went on 7/12s.

I am way too old for this ...

I also received Uwe's card today. It's really a lovely print. Saddens me a little though as I LOVED Emaks/Varycon paper. Probably 2/3rds of the prints on my wall are printed on one or the other. When I very recently got back to printing I was really bummed to find it was gone

Thank you for your comments.

> I LOVED Emaks/Varycon

I had the luck buying 750 sheets of 30x40cm² for less than 200$ at ebay. That paper may be 10 years old, but it lasts forever. I don’t see any sign of degradation.

Enough paper for the next 5 years.

Mine went out the end of last week. I realized as I was dropping them in the box though that I forgot to put who it was from. I added in a little "From: xia_ke" above the address part. Mine was shot at Porter Preserve, so if you get one that is not signed, it's from me. DOH!:whistling:

Received xia's card today, brought back memories of playing on those rocks maybe 50 years ago. Thank you very much!

Thanks winterclock. It's a beautiful area that I haven't really explored since my childhood. Usually when my wife and I want to get away we head up to Rockland or Acadia. After this past trip we will certainly be returning soon as we had a lot of fun exploring all of the little nature preserves.

I received Xia's card today too. Beautiful work! I saw the print and thought to myself, "That can't be 35mm." Gorgeous.

Thanks dpn  Really liking the combination of FP4+ and Ilfosol 3. Just need to tweak my development times a hair bit.

Thanks Uwe! Dead Link Removed, I'm very happy with it so far. When I get some more money together I'm going to buy some of their matte FB which is supposed to be more warmtone and takes better to toning.

Xia_Ke's card arrived in BKK yesterday - and I too love the paper! Lovely print with great tonal range.

Thanks oz! Glad to hear you liked the tonal range as I was really questioning whether to tone down the contrast a bit. It is was shot in bright midday sun so I decided to stick with the higher contrast that was the reality of the moment.

Received dpn's postcard today. A really great shot and not at all what I thought it was at first glance of the image. Was surprised when I read the back of what it was. I'll comment further later when others receive their postcards so I don't spoil the surprise. I also really like the finish of the paper. Never seen Ilford Pearl before.

dpn's card arrived today - never been to Vegas, but read a short article last week on the iconic "Welcome" sign. Add that to to your card and I think I need to plan a trip at some stage, to shoot these great iconic signs.
