That will put pressure on me to go out and shoot (or at least go to the darkroom and print one of the negatives I've never printed...)

Mine are printed and addressed. I'm just waiting to find out if I have to do any "corrected" address labels.

For those who make use of the US postal service, just a reminder that rates for postcards go up on April 26, 2015 :whistling:

I just finished printing my cards for this round. I have not been this prepared for a very long time. They should be delivered to the post office, and on their way to you, this coming week.

Regards,
Darwin

I thought I received my first cards today, but alas, they were for #33. At least, I'm assuming the one from Pelo78 is for #33 and not this round, but I could be mistaken since there is no round listed on the card... If I am, then the gorgeous Yosemite Falls arrived in my mailbox today!

To All:

I dropped off my postcards at the post office this morning. Hope you like the image I chose for this round.

Darwin

I just came back from the mailbox this afternoon, in snowy, near white out conditions. The only piece of mail in the box contrasted sharply with my environment. Brushing the snowflakes from the card, a beautiful image of grasses bathed in sun appeared! Well exposed and printed and an uplifting sight here in snowy Pennsylvania. Thanks, Darwin.

My cards for round #34 are all on their way, and most of my cards for the next round have been printed and toned as well.

Darwin's card also made it to Japan. I really love the glow of the grasses, makes me wish summer was already here.

I received Matt King's card this week and I love the middle tones in this photo. I love the glossy paper and the shine of the manifold. I can almost sense the greasy smell of the generators, just gazing at it. Very Nice. I also spent some time on the internet reading about the Stave Falls Powerhouse. It's nice when photographers have the opportunity to divulge geographic locations. I think it adds to the fun.

Thanks Jake.

So the cards have got to at least three continents - kudos to the Canadian and US postal services.

Two more cards for me - "Manifold" by Matt King and "Tree bark and rock" by mike c. I like the simplicity of both cards and they surprisingly go well together as I look at them side by side, the smooth tones of the pipes from Matt's card complement the rough texture of the tree and rock in Mike's card.

My cards are in the mail as of 30 minutes ago.

I received mike c's card this week. I can see why your eye was drawn to this composition, because it's very intriguing. My take is, this is a simple yet complex composition that achieves the photographers goal. A goal which manages to hold the viewers eye. Thanks, Matt c.

I received Darwin's card last week, and Mike C's one this week (OK, last friday, seems it's already another week...).

I loved them both.

Thanks!

Shame on me... I forgot to comment Matt King's Manifold, which I received some days ago. I really like it, both because it's a subject matter I like, and because of the way Matt rendered it.

This week I received Rachelle's Kyoyo in th snow, which is a lovely image. IR makes it somewhat unreal.

Thanks !
