Wow folks, these are fantastic.

Hiking last weekend on Cape Lookout, north of Newport in Oregon. I've lived in this area 20 years and never taken the trail down this peninsula.
Photographed on Ilford Delta 400 with my "new" Kodak Retina III. Film processed in BER49, my new favorite developer.

Beautiful image, Paul. I'm so inspired and eager to try my new Retina III that just came back from CLA. Here is something of the wood nature. I was thinking that trees have distinctive look and I dare to say personality.
Camera: Rolleiflex 2.8E
Film: Kodak TMax 100
Developer: D76 dil 1:1

Yes, I started with a scanned negative, then I made a larger Digital Negative in PS, printed it on Pictorico Transparency film and contact-print the film on Fabriano paper sensitised with VDB sensitiser.
The outer effect is "natural" - the brush traces on the paper when I applied the sensitiser (the sensitiser is applied locally, not on the entire paper).

Thanks for the explanation, very informative.
So many possibilities

I'm finding the Retina IIIc to be a very pleasant camera to use, and the results are quite respectable for 35mm. I hope you will enjoy yours too! Who did the CLA? Was it Chris Sherlock?

Hi Paul, yes it was Chris. He did a fantastic job. Can't wait to get a roll through it. Will post something here

Mamiya RB67. 50mm lens. Tmax 100 film with Xtol developer. Scanned with Epson V600 processed in LR6

Not much woodlands down here in the desert. (unless you want creosote bushes and mesquite trees.) But here are two pictures taken near Cloudcroft, NM with a Nikon F4 and Velvia 50 for the first and Ektar for the second:

Twin Snow Gums, Grace
Gelatin-silver photograph on Arista Edu Ultra FB VC photographic paper, image area 19.7cm X 24.5cm, exposed in contact with a Fomapan 200 negative. Camera was a Tachihara triple extension 8x10 field view camera with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

The trees had grown in each others company for 300 years but now one has died, one still flourishes; grace in life and death.

I have enjoyed this collection of pictures more than any other. Amazing that there is not one average shot, you should all take a bow, thank you.
