If a tree falls in Tennessee…? This big sycamore certainly made a big noise when it came down in the “urban wilderness“ a mile or more from my house!
Howdy neighbor! We sure got a bunch of trees down earlier this summer over here. Storms were no joke. Been out shooting all the upturned trees and snapped off trees at the local state park since.

Ho

I think y’alll caught the brunt of it this year, though an EF2 slipped up on us west of town during the last big outbreak. Otherwise I’m appreciating the scenes from Middle Tennessee (very much like the storm rolling in on the Coffee Co. beanfield) but considering what I-24 looked like from Nashville to Murfreesboro last time I had business at MTSU I ain’t going back…

Don't get me started on I-24, lol!
Lots of detail in this capture! The fungi is fantastic!

Snow is slowly coming down the mountains...itching for it to hit the valley floor...here's one from a couple years ago: Haisla Pole, Kitamaat, north coast BC, Canada.

A creek to right allowed some light in, Devils Club and ground cover starting to turn fall colours and wet from light rain, a Hemlock starting to decompose while standing, and one second of photon absorption.

How about some Kodak Ektachrome 'Infra- Red ' film photos ? I have a few cassettes in fridge very outdated but still seem to work - here i used my 'Gift' OLYMPUS OM-Spot Program with a yellow and orange filter.

Note the title?

Thanks, but I have previously declined an offer to enter local politics, so maybe you can stump for someone else...or...are you calling me stumpy...rotted to the core...lost my bark?
