Slow Creek, scanned from print.

From a walk in Tryon Creek State Natural Area, Portland, OR, 2023.04.09. This is a negative scan; I'm still thinking about how to print it. Not spotted because I'm lazy.

Speed Graphic, 127/4.7 Ektar, TXP at 640, PC-TEA 1+50 14 minutes. f/5.6, 1/25 second, handheld.

Melaleucas and Sedges
Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa MCC 111 VC FB photographic paper, image size 19.6cm X 24.5cm, from a 4x5 TriX Pan Professional negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF field view camera fitted with a Voigtlander Heliar 21cm f4.5 lens.

Nice shot, that is

Beautiful image.
Thanks. It's in a substantial chunk of old growth forest that's now a municipal park, and the trailhead is about a 15 minute walk from our home. Lucky me.

This section burned up a long time ago (there are a few really old charred cedar snags still standing close by) so these trees are probably middle aged as far as Western Hemlock go.

In fall the undergrowth starts turning yellow...something I look forward to every year.
