Don't hesitate to educate me as to why a picture taken inside a theater should qualify as street photography.
Just checked some places where "street" is on display. Not a single image is from inside a building. And does it really it matter whether "some" people commingle street and documentary as one, street still remains an image taken outside any building? I mean that is direct implication of what street is. There may be a grey area for OUT qualification, but a still shot in a theater with only silence going on does not seem to conform.It’s definitely documentary... people tend to intermix street and documentary, so it’s all good...
Just my 2cents: if thread is about posting street photographs it would quite naturally draw some comments, so discussing what "street" means seems like natural consequence for such a thread.Not sure why you did not respond to me in messages. Don't want to derail this thread. Really I am unclear why it isn't street photography and was just looking for clarity not an argument.
