We have some amazing street photographers on this forum, this thread is one of my favorites. There's one thing that's irritating me though: lots of photos are posted with built-in dark/rough framing and I find it hugely distracting and, in some cases, mood-ruining, as they remind me of funerals and tombstones. I'm from the eastern europe and photos in black frames evoke these associations, I'm not sure how universal that is.

I like the boarders, it adds honesty and a lack of pretense and to me doesnt distract from the image. Prefer that to film boarders with the perforations and film codes, thats just annoying.@NB23 not criticizing, BTW. Love seeing your work here and only wish the borders didn't have these associations in my head.
Nicely composed, like the graffiti and the old man looks how I feel.
Great photography, reminds me a little of Trent Parke, did you use a red filter?
