Took a trip to Prince Edward Island last week, (and also stopped in Maine for a short stint at Acadia as well). Here are some of the shots from the trip.

First, with my Canon R5, RF 14-35/4L, 24-105/4L:

And then a couple film shots with my Mamiya C330 and 55mm f/4.5. First shot is on Portra 160. Second on Ektar 100:

That lighthouse and starfield demonstrates one of the few things digital can do that film can't (at least not a fully analog workflow): well done HDR.

Interestingly enough, the starfield / lighthouse shot is not an HDR. It's a single exposure (15 seconds at f/4.5, ISO 4000). Images 1, 3 and 6 are 3 shot HDRs, though.

Don,
What backpack did you get? I have a GII as well.

The one for the GVII is a generic one my employer offered as part of my fifteen year package (along with a "gold watch", a logo jacket -- "Here, as a privilege for fifteen years, we'll offer you another chance to wear our advertising." -- and the $300 gift card I used to get the Gitzo Adventury that will carry my RB67 kit). The generic has no dividers, though it is padded and includes a "laptop pocket" (that I'll probably never use, I don't haul my laptop that way and anyway, with auxiliary battery, it wouldn't fit).

1992 Great Sand Dunes No 1 by Nokton48, on Flickr

Our goal was to ascend the Great Dunes. This is the view when we stepped off the parking lot. Notice the figure in the distance; when I got there (to that point) I HAD to rest! 4x5 Sinar Norma 90mm f8 Norma Super Angulon HP5 d76 1:1. 8x10 fibre print Fortezo Dektol 1:2 Omega Dii Omegalite 180mm black Rodagon. I knew this was going to be something special. It was late afternoon sun

The sand is blowing up to my knees. If I lowered Norma it would be catastrophic. The light was starting to get really, really good. 4x5 Sinar Norma 90mm f8 Norma Super Angulon HP5 d76 1:1. 8x10 fibre print Fortezo Dektol 1:2 Omega Dii Omegalite 180mm black Rodagon.

I am sinking knee-deep into the sand. This is a glorious experience. I stayed in this spot quite a while just enjoying everything about this. 4x5 Sinar Norma 90mm f8 Norma Super Angulon HP5 d76 1:1. 8x10 fibre print Fortezo Dektol 1:2 Omega Dii Omegalite 180mm black Rodagon.
