I like both scenes. The name of the lake fits very well to b&w photography 😉

I have not tried it since I do not have the camera to take stereo photographs, but stereo photographs of the tufas would look great.

Great Sand Dunes Ntl Monument SW Colorado 1992 by Nokton48, on Flickr

Sunrise at the Great Sand Dunes National Monument SW Colorado late 1980s. 4x5 Sinar Norma, HP5 (not +) PMK+ dev 90mm F8 Norma Super Angulon. Norma Yellow Glass FIlter, 8x10 Foma fibre paper Dektol developer. Omega DII Omegalite head 180mm black Rodagon.

What a lovely experience this was. Quite a long hike to get to this spot. Who says you can't use Monorail View Cameras in the field?

On the Virginia side. Even though I grew up on the Maryland side, the Virginia side in more picturesque.

Agreed - better views from VA, but better hiking and more variety on the MD side. I'm fortunate to be close by so I frequent both often.

Not me. I've finally got a backpack on the way that will hold my Graphic View II. I expect it'll be lighter than the one with a reasonably complete RB67 kit...
