Sure - because it was intended to illustrate how Old Gregg's image is effective both with and without colour - i.e. he is capable of "seeing" in black and white just as effectively as he sees in colour.
I didn't intend to suggest that he merely use digital tools to remove the colour from the original image (although I probably should have made that more clear).
In contra-distinction from a few of my colour landscapes that depend on their colour for their success, but fail terribly if that colour is removed.

Just in case you missed it, that was a response to Old Gregg's thinking that he needed colour to make successful landscape photos. The image is his, after I showed how it look if the colour was removed from it, to show how its strengths came from much more than its colour.

Here we go with a recent discovery in the folders on my cpu it was in colour but very boring.
 
The photos here are sure a lot better than what's being posted in the gallery!
