A theory exists which proposes that the Isle of Avalon mentioned in Arthurian legend is, in fact, Avallon in Burgundy.

Early Neo-Gothic interior with grisaille trompe-l'oeil and wood floor (!) in a side chapel, Eglise Saint-Lazare, Avallon, Yonne, France.

Hasselblad SWC, no filter, handheld (full open and 1/30sec.) on Ilford HP5+ @ 1600ASA in X-Tol 1+1, dry scanned on Epson 750.
This combo shows less grain, and even nicer tonality, than the Bergger combo in the previous images...
