The last 2 Pentacons I bought were for parts only , one is back to fine working condition , the other needs work to a curtain tab . But as has been said , the curtains
seem quite robust . The Kowa lenses are getting up there in price , the 55,85 and 150 seem the most affordable and available . As an aside here , if you scan your negatives
for the net , the Kowa negatives don't need to be rotated and one can get a higher resolution scan of the same size negative . The turning of the scanned negative seems to end
a higher megabyte count and may not fit within some forums maximum size for posting . Peter

That 180mm f2.8 is magic. It literally is one of the best lenses I've ever used, VERY sharp with buttery smooth bokeh. It really is a reference lens for a tele medium format lens.
