I can understand it if you had to submit photos of your cameras to an insurance company to get coverage or to file a claim. And I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say those never ready cases came with the cameras.
I found all of those cameras in the land of unloved toys.
I took the photo as part of the effort to find them new homes - where they might be loved or, at least, used occasionally.
I'm happy to report that I was successful in that effort - all fund new homes.
Many were given to enthusiastic college students. Some were sold for parts or repair.
