I'm looking forward to trying it in 120.
I loved the old school Super-XX look of Fortepan and hope for something similar here!:D

Do you have suggested development times for Ilford DD-X developer?

Hello to all film enthusiasts !

We are very proud to introduce to you our brand new and original film BERGGER Pancro 400...

Does anyone know if or when Bergger will be available in sheet film, ie; 4X5??

Thanks

I thought this was already the case before they introduced the 120 and 135 versions?

Likewise-I was a regular user of the 200 speed version.

I was wondering why Bergger does not give developing times for Ilford developers. I know I can find guidance on Digitaltruth, but is there a reason for Bergger not providing this info on its data sheet?

(Apologies if this question has already been asked - it's a long thread, and I checked out at the definitions of manufacturer v. producer v.marketer)

I've seen a time for ID-11, but not surprisingly that is the same time as for D-76.

Yes, but why doesn't Bergger provide the info for ID-11 or any other Ilford developer? Interestingly, Digitaltruth provides times only for ID-11 and Ilfosol 3.
This is not a big deal - just curious about the omission.

That ID-11 data was included in the Bergger data sheet that Argentix.ca have online for the film. I think the data sheet originated with Bergger - it is in French.

Hi It’s now Sept 2023 and I’m wandering if Bergger sheet film is still available?
Im interested in 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10. I live in Australia and note Gold Street Studios has no stock so I fear the worst.

Seems to be back-ordered at B&H too. I'm making my way through a box of the stuff currently (8x10), but I have had it some time...!!

Marc!

I found a box of 5x7 about ~6 months ago at Freestyle, right when they updated their site, but I think that was a fluke. You can get 135 and 120 at a few places, and based on stock counts--its being replenished--but sheet film seems to be gone.

I've written to Bergger directly - at least three times in the past year - and I have not gotten a response. I was inquiring specifically about the Pancro 400 in sheet film sizes. I suspect we may never see it again.

Seems the film revival may be having some growing pains...

I've written to them also about the dupe film
No response...it was great film
Bergger doesn't make anything just outsources it's materials

Same here. Question about their print film, no reply after many weeks. Is this company still in business?

The same guy Aurélien Le Duc, CEO of Bergger, an ex member of Photrio, also runs a web shop https://labo-argentique.com/ I guess that would also be a way to contact them?

I was on that website and bergger films are not available including the print film
Someone should send an email
Personally I don't need their products that badly
Especially if they have no customer service

Perhaps I am misinformed, but from what I can gather Bergger doesn't really make anything; they just order it up from someone else, put their label on it, and then sell it at a premium. And sometimes they are in business and sometimes they are not.

Exactly .....
