Agreed. Both are flawed operationally, but aesthetically sublime.I'd favor either the lovely S2 or the plain prism F.
While I like the Nikon rangefinders, it’s hard for me to consider their aesthetics independently because they look like a Contax clone. (Which of course they are.)
And the SLR's were an Exakta clone...
Can't say I've heard this before. I believe Nikon stated the F was built on the Nikon RF which i suppose by extension makes it a Contax clone . . .And the SLR's were an Exakta clone...

I voted the F plain prism but my EL2 was a beauty too ...
Yesterday I voted for the SP and this morning I found one at an estate sale with 50/1.4 for a whopping $35.
(It does have cosmetic issues and slow speeds don't work but the lens cap is probably worth more than what I paid for the camera)
