SP is to me the best looking Nikon ever made.

While I like the Nikon rangefinders, it’s hard for me to consider their aesthetics independently because they look like a Contax clone. (Which of course they are.)

I appreciate the simple elegance of the FM2n that I own--I suspect I'd like the others in the same series as well. Mine is black.

My AF600 is stunning. Otherwise the S2/S3/S4.
For SLRs I have all those already mentioned but the only one that if Nikon introduced right now as a contemporary manual SLR that still looks completely up to date is the F3. That design really is ageless. And gorgeous.

Yesterday I voted for the SP and this morning I found one at an estate sale with 50/1.4 for a whopping $35.
(It does have cosmetic issues and slow speeds don't work but the lens cap is probably worth more than what I paid for the camera)

Wow, that's a great buy!

Nikon S2 Black Paint, by far!

Then, SP Black Paint!

Then, S3 Black Paint!

Then S4.

Then, Black F.

It is kind of amazing how little (did it show at all) the F2 was mentioned and how often the F3 and F4 were lauded.

Nikon F2 in black with plain prism. Also, the F2 titan.
I don't own one yet, I have the FM2n, which for photographic purposes is a better camera, but there's something about the F2.
